I guess I do not understand something in this life - spending a lot of money and a lot of time, and then to sell it…
Me thinks someone is selling something shiny in his local craigslist and my boy is interested lol

Haven’t updated since I listed for sale.

Being that it’s not flying off the shelf, and I daily drive it. Here’s my new to do list:

-visit garden state undercoaters. I have an appointment Thurs. They’ll clean this baby up good.
-settle this annoying manifold exhaust leak. Would be nice if I could just gunk up the area with rtf.

The AC is good. The suspension is starting to settle. The Tesla style radio is still working normally. Not in bad shape.

Passenger headlight bulb went out. Replaced both with sylvania ultra h1. Was very easy.

Then got the headlight assembly buffed and waxed at the local over achieving car wash. Looks nice.

Put an Ironman 4x4 double drawer system in the back. Really digging it. Also got a few outdoor cushions. Kids love tailgating with a pillow against the drawers. It’s not too bad when changing from a wetsuit either.

And a bonus, the weight of the drawers evened out the suspension. My rake is much better now

Shin etsu for the win !! Not only are the windows sliding with ease, but the road noise is gone! 80% quieter at highway speeds. Wow.

Follow up on the shin etsu. The road noise came back a week later, causing me to get new weather stripping. Since redoing the stripping, I don't hear the exhaust leak clicks or wind noise anymore. It's real quiet.

However, the windows are still sliding perfectly. So shin for the win.

Quick bandaid for road noise. Solid fix for window tracks.

Holding off on the sale and enjoying the ride. Ordered some Yokohama g015 in 285/75r17. Is speedo correction a real consideration? How off will it be?

You have android with nav and speedometer… You’ll see the diff 🤣

I never got that to work on there
I finally got a obd2 unit to talk to the phoenix head unit. Torque lite has obd2 vehicle speed and GPS speed. I used to run that in my upsized 4Runner and could see the speedometer difference

How’s that work? the obd2 plugs into the Phoenix somehow?

The nav does not work on tesla radio? Or the some OBDII app does not work? Or your dash speedometer 🤬?
Obd2 works. Speedo works. Nav in Tesla uses my CarPlay

I originally had a veepeak Bluetooth adapter but it would never connect to the head unit.

Picked up the WiFi veepeak unit and it connects via WiFi and then Torque app has option to connect via WiFi.

To prevent any chance of drain, I have an obd2 extension cord with switch on it.

I have cheapest BT OBD2 from aliexpress, probably around $2, that works perfectly with Atoto android unit on my other car. I’m using Car Scanner ELM OBD2. Torque is not very good with live data and freeze frames.
The drain is very low, adapter switches LED off when ignition is off. I’m consuming 4-5 tanks per year, and never had dead battery.

Replaced my rear brake pads. Found out that one of my rear brake dust shields are scraping & causing an ugly turn noise. Also figured out that the little chirping was coming from front pads. To be replaced shortly.

285/75R17's coming soon.

Got my new tires put on.

It really completes the look from the lift kit, but not only that, as suggested by someone on here, I think @Kamran Khan - the new tires without slime, properly balanced, etc feel SO much better on the road. Despite being an inch taller.

Now for the rub. They rub. The rear clears by a bunch. The front hits the interior plastic liners on extension. Any tips? Also I think it shifted a metal cover for the pass side AC line. It’s now sort of floating back there.

Chopped the pinch welds this morning, primed and painted the area, reinstalled the liner & heat molded it it out of the way.

Looks like my metal rock slides are contacting. They need a little haircut too.

Changed the front pads too. Trimmed back the sliders a quarter to a half inch. Went for a drive. Eliminated all of my annoying sounds by doing the tires brakes and dust shield. Now all I hear is the gentle creaking of my Ironman drawers, and the vibrant heartbeat of my manifold exhaust leak.

Also I got a car wash

Looks awesome! I believe either the driver door or the rear left door is repainted. Ask your local body shop if they can fix this tiny imperfection. Maybe a compound polish can fix it.

17mm ratcheting wrench made short work of my rock sliders. Slid them back as far as they would go & further trimmed the wheel well liner.

Then took it out to some local trails. It handled like a champ.

Getting a bit of vibration on highway when changing lanes or making bends. Anyone know where to begin finding the cause?

Bushings. I'd look at the sway bars first and go from there.
