Holy cow! It's been a long time since an update with lots changed! I suppose I will start with the new spring setup, J springs with 40s!! Yes a 3in lift with 40s :)

Not a lot of up travel but looks pretty badass! I think I would try and get at least an inch of fender trim just to stay off the bumps. But maybe it's an optical illusion and there is more travel than it looks because the tires are just so big.

Have you wheeled it like that? In my opinion, chopping + low + big tires = awesome.

I feel like this is the first time I've ever felt an 80 had too much tire under it. Normally they swallow up whatever you stuff under there. Looks sweet though.

About 3+ inches of up travel, little bit of an illusion, and I have trimmed more since those picstures, just did bumps so will post more!

Yes I have! Seems a little better with lower softer springs, less jarring when hitting a large Boulder and a lot les tippy! Posting bump stop pics ASAP

UPDATE: adjustable bumps in front coils!
Alright so I picked up some dampening bumps to help suck up and quick impacts with the low ride height, truck is a lot more stable in the rocks now! Just took the end cap off of these and welded them to come plate, then to the cone and ground it smooth!

You're so out of the BOX!
It's looking like Badger, low & wide.
Please post up more ramp pics.
Any close suspension pics.

You mentioned they where to stiff.
So, you went from a OME Comp Coils 5" front 4" rear...
The 5" fronts are a 300 lb. rate vs. the 850J 220 lb. rate.
80 lbs. seems to be a big difference...

Got flex?

UPDATE: ok so I got bored and drew up some bull**** in the middle of the night. The goal was to make a box to house my cooler or arb fridge if I switch to that but have a structure over top for my 40in spare to lay flat when I bring it to rougher trails. The drawer is huge and fits my camping/ recovery/ tools and all kinds of random s***, it slides nice over a nylon type plastic. So I went down to my grandpas ranch who use to make cabinets and he looked over my sketch and went down to his old wood shop and started cranking down! 5 hours later we had his! Next was to bedline it... Pretty stout and resistant now! Last was to make a super heavy duty slide, popped over to my home away from home "das mule" and within hours John cranked me out a custom slide platform! Booyaaah

I'm digging the second pic above "version"...

It's nice to be able to see the spool at all times when your running out line or maning the wrap.

You might have great line of sight from the top, just can't tell from the shots.

Just food for thought.

Looking good man!

Thanks man! Actually a very decent viewing window from the top, time will tell if its enough, main goal is protect is and keep as much clearance as possible! I am too good at running into boulders and trees to let it too open!

So side question.... Is that a snorked Cummins 2500 next to your rig? Or is there another rig next to that with a snorkel?
