I've seen a number of posts that make it clear not all shackles are equal. I've also seen alot of guys say the best solution is a to make your own set, but I'm looking for a bolt on solution that will lower my height about an inch, so I can keep my 32's with a little extra and then work on my angles ( shims etc. ) . I can't find any measurements of the actual shackle to know what the shackles that are on there now are (1.5 inch 2.5 inch lift etc. ) The rears appear to be an inch longer than front. Is that standard?
What brand and height should I go with.

Thanks.

you have confer 1 1/2 over in front, and 2 1/2 over in rear. yes, it is normal to go a tad longer in rear to keep from having the butt sag.

You can go to this SOR page - http://www.sor.com/sor/cat288.tam?xax=2307&page.ctx=cat288.tam and scroll to the bottom to see info on stock shackles.

Good luck!

Thanks! :D That was just the info I was looking for.
It seems there isn't much of a step between stock and where I'm at now, so I guess I'll stick where I'm at.
So that brings up my next question.
Bushings. Is one brand better than another and what's the easiest way to ID the right fit for those shackles?

Those look like 5/8" bolts. Measure them and make sure. That means you would need a 5/8" ID, 1" OD. The flanges are typically .195", but they make skinnier flanges. With the Conferr shackles, SOR lists a flange of .125. Again, you can go to the SOR website for more info - http://www.sor.com/sor/cat289.tam?xax=6952&page.ctx=cat289.tam. That page gives you the stock size and lists sizes for a Conferr shackle.

Good luck!
