I'm willing to bet that the factory skids are more for aerodynamics than protection

Good morning, Bart. 4:21am. @Von Hayek
I told you it's my reading time! I think if I were forced to teleport to a city in 1000 CE, it would be Song Dynasty Kaifeng. It was a peaceful, educated, and tolerant society. They had over 70 restaurants in one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world.

It’s a mixed bag with town growth. Winchester basically let’s any development go through and it is so over crowded it takes forever to go across town because of the traffic. It’s like living in downtown Fairfax I’m glad I moved out more towards the country.

When I lived in Amissville, the city council of Warrenton voted against allowing a movie theater or Home Depot into town.
Amissville is about to get rocked. They finally broke ground for the 700 homes at Clevengers Corner this s fall.
Warrenton says they don’t want stuff but when wal mart was built at the town line just outside the town the county approved it and the day before it was given a occupancy permit the town annexed the property to get the taxes. Same thing with Home Depot across the street 5 years later.

My great uncle negotiated the commercial real estate deal for Clevinger's Corner over 30 years ago and nothing ever came about from it. I guess something finally is. I think the business owners in Warrenton will approve. As many of the people who move there that go to Warrenton, I imagine as many will go to Culpeper. Maybe Bob will get a restaurant he can walk to.

A restaurant we could walk to would be nice; that might get me out of the house more often.

The area being developed is in Culpeper county.

That thing has been auctioned off multiple times recently...

Getting back to the topic of Hot Wheels (lol)...

The first of the new Toyota series have arrived.

Scaling is a bit larger than others. And the weight is abt 2.5x the 80 Series.

Anyone have some fun while the snow was deep this morning? I pulled my mailman out so he could get back to the post office. He kept jackknifeing into the parked cars whenever he moved

I exercised the lockers before the plow hit our streets

I'm going to pull the tractor out tomorrow. I was too nervous about spinning out going down my driveway today. I'm hoping the morning sun will melt the leftover layer of ice the snowblower left. So many driveways on my street are socked in from the county plows.

Strange storm.
We got 3" out here. No shovels, no blower, no machines needed.
Hard surfaces remained clear the entire time.
