How do you like that Canyon Cooler? I have one and two Yeti's and the Canyon smokes them both for ice retention every trip. I ask because you don't see them very often.

I absolutely love it. It fits really well between the bars of the raft frame but is really heavy for me to manage on my own.

I just bought a second one in Moab from the dealer there, a smaller one. I like it for a lot of reasons but you can't beat the ice retention. We had plenty of ice after four days on the river, and it was over 100 degrees each day.

I don't know why people take out second mortgages to buy Yetis when there is a superior cooler on the market that is more affordable.

Agreed. And anyone considering a soft cooler should look hard at OtterBox. We have one that recently hell an icecream cake together for eight hours on a float. Way better than the Yeti.
