Is the plan to paint the exterior? If so, curious about surface prep for the aluminum sheets. Phenomenal work, enjoying seeing the progress!!

No, the sheets come painted.

Also, thank you!

Exhaust tweaked, finished, and the generator is in service again.

Strangely, the circuit breaker still trips when hitting the stop button, which is almost certainly due to the glow plug circuit at this point. I can trouble shoot that when I'm looking for something easy to kill some hours with.

Rick cameos left and right! Nice work JC. I think you need a rooftop hot tub on that motel!

Current pic. Taking a week off, then will push to get this side reframed and skinned in early april.

Here for the trailer rebuild 🍿 but them XXX Genny pics are nice too. Keep em coming Johnny.

Huge thanks to @SeanLX for coming over to lend a hand and hang out! Always a pleasure my man.

Early April kinda came and went, but I'm back on the wagon now. Curb side stripped, plan enacted to repair rust in the bottom channel. Planning to make progress quickly now.

Will get the two large doors framed in, then move up to the goose to repair and frame out a window. Epoxy primer, then paint, then new skins start going on.

So much for being back on the wagon

Got some good progress in this weekend. Pushing to have the framing in the main section of the trailer done and painted asafp, then the skins hung by may 2nd. The goose will come after that.

After this weekend, the curb side just needs some welds blended on the skin side, then clean, prime, paint, and it's ready for skins.

Do you need some help? I can hand you tools and be moral support but you know way more stuff than I do about this. I would love to get my hands dirty and help in any way I can. Give me a weekend when I can drive out and help you out. Got to get this done before GSMTR!

Adam, maybe Ryan and maybe Del are coming over on Sunday to hang siding. Want to come for that?

Driver's side rear fixed tonight.

Better current pics.

Treated with ospho today, intend to paint the repaired sections tomorrow. One more area of rust to repair in the main section of the trailer, then skins start going on.

Seam sealer and paint today. Need to do some more rust repair tomorrow, then start figuring out skins.

This weekend, the goal is to have all the skins up on the main section with some help. Wrangling the full sheets will be a challenge, and a learning experience for sure.

Following that, the rust repair in the goose will occur, along with framing the windows, followed by skins in the goose.

Interior layout is close to finalized, and the vehicle tie down locations more or less finalized as well.

Exciting!
