Camps where there are women are always made obvious by the strings of lights. Good stuff as always.

I always take my lights lol. They make good safety guides for when I drink too much!!!!

curious how you power them? connect back to truck, or standalone battery pack? i assume this is a spool of 12V LED's, and you pay out however long you need to string between trees?

wow, that scenery is jaw dropping

A little maintenance work on the rig today.

Pulled and cleaned my battery and all the battery connections. And I cleaned the airfilter.

I also started working on fixing a noise coming from the rear of the truck. After close inspection I realized the rear passenger body mount is toast.

last week I ordered all new body mounts from febest. Today I started taking them apart. Tomorrow I will need to find some new bolts because some of the body mount bolts are bent. Than hopefully I can finish getting the rear mounts removed than I will start installing the new mounts.

Can you share the link for your body mounts? Love the journey you are on.

They are just a simple string of lights that run off 3 AA batteries that I bought on eBay. I have yet to change the batteries after 5 or so trips.

Did a little playing at sand hollow. Running solo so nothing too crazy.

While I was at sand hollow I noticed my drivers door speaker was messed up, the cone was seized and I am pretty sure water got into it a few weeks ago during a heavy rain when I had the window down.

Well off to the audio store for new speakers.

I used some 6 mil plastic to make a little rain jacket for the new speakers. I hope this will prevent any more water from entering the coils.

I also love these heat shrink solder butt connectors.

They shrink down and glue with a waterproof joint and the solder melts and gets a nice strong bond. I check them all with a nice firm tug.

Installed, even got the tweeters in the oem location.

Do you need a job?? You are on the verge of making me jealous and that’s saying something bc I screw off more than anyone I know except you. Have you considered starting your own site? The way things are going many a turd would enlist to live vicariously through you.

I have thought about it but, ain't nobody got time for that!!!

I would spend all my free time editing videos and playing on computers instead of having fun.

Welp, playing at sand hollow highlighted a problem.

Inner axle seals were replaced about a month ago and I am pretty sure the seal got messed up on install.

In the meantime I found an easy fix.

Haha, jk 😜

I ordered new seals and full knuckle rebuild kit from @cruiseroutfit on Thursday, got it delivered today. I love that place.

Will drop the rig off to get the knuckles overhauled, a drain and fill on the tranny, and an ac service first thing monday morning.

That tiny coil spring that wraps around the inner area of the oil seal can be dislodged rather easily. I’ve done it. Don’t be surprised if that spring ends up visible through the oil drain plug hole when you drain it next.

Haha, I will ask my mechanic to watch for it and also check the axle for a wear groove. I am sure my buddy and I screwed it up. We were like dumb and dumber working on the rig after a few too many beers.

Well I got the rig back from the shop. My guy said the axle had no grooves. He also said the inner axle seal looked alright inside the axle. But his method of removal destroys the inner seal so he couldn't inspect it closely.

Anywase she is fixed and good to go.

And the AC is good to go for the summer.

Is your diff breather working? Sometimes if it is stuck closed, it will blow out a seal.
