Took it out today to check the knuckle job and make sure the inner seal doesn't leak this time.

Did some wheeling and used both the lockers.

My buddy said that maybe the copper line on the locker was leaking and caused the seal to go bad.

The lockers worked great and the air compressor would only run when I would disengage and engage the lockers. Once they were engaged I left them locked for 15 minutes and the compressor didn't turn on once.

Also shot my handgun a little and played with my new drone some more and smoked a swineapple.

The drone is so much fun. I might try and make my 1st video tonight and get it uploaded to the U tube.

Diff breathers are not clogged.
your mechanic could have pulled the seals and showed you the spring I referes too the other day. Tellingly you something without proof of the culprit is not cool.

My mechanic didn't tell me anything without proof.

He said the seal looked fine inside the axle housing although it is hard to inspect the seal in the housing.

Than he told me we will never really know because the way he removes the seal destroys them.

But he did verify the spring came out with the seal.

Seems like we're not talking about the right thing here....I need more info on that Swineapple.
Thick cut bacon, Pork Tenderloin (marinated? rubbed?), Pineapple....temp 185? 3-4 hours? What kinda wood?

I used a honey Sriracha pre marinated pork tenderloin from Walmart to stuff the pineapple.

Rubbed the pineapple down with brown sugar and tooth picked some strips of thick cut bacon over the pineapple. Rubbed the bacon down with brown sugar also.

I don't know what kind of pellets were in the smoker.

I started at 200 F, after 2 hours internal temp was only 105F. I bumped it up to 300 and gave it roughly another hour until the center hit 150F.

It was amazing!!!!

So I picked up a DJI mini 2 drone. I have been playing with it and still learning but here is my 1st video from today and camping a couple weeks ago.

I got a lot to learn lol

Introduced Charlie to his new brother.

Been a minute sense I updated this thread. Honestly I haven't been doing much with the cruiser because of the heat and gas prices.

Mainly the heat lol, when it starts getting around 110F I start staying inside.

The knuckle rebuild seems to be holding up and the inner axle seal hasn't leaked again. Lockers are working great and I am happy they are back up and running.

I did take it to toquerville falls a few weekends ago and this weekend I took the rig up on the mtn to set up a summer get away from the heat camp. I have been horrible at taking pictures of the rig.

This morning I took the rig to discount tire to get my tires rotated and balanced.

I love my Nitto trail grappler mt's. I am running an E rated tire in a 315-75/16.

The tires have only been rotated and balanced twice before today. The tires have 24,000 miles on them and they still have 1/4" of tread left.

I am very hard on my tires. Probably 6,000 - 10,000 of the 24,000 miles have been offfroad. I routinely run my tires around 16psi when offroad and than I will leave them aired down for weeks to months while driving around town. Usually when I am driving more than 10 miles on the interstate is when I will air the tires back up because I am lazy.

Even with the abuse these tires have worn perfect. No cupping or anything, and they still balance with almost no weight.

I ran a set of these nittos on my old cruiser until they were bald and never had any problems or flats. Than I switched to a set of toyo rt's in the same size. By the time the toyo tires were worn out they were cupped, wouldn't balance, and I had 7 flats on that set of tires. Now on my current set of nitto's I have once again experienced zero flat tires. These tires are just plain tough. The only downside is an extra 10 or so lbs compared to the toyo's but that is a price I am willing to pay.

So if anyone needs a recommendation on good tires I am recommending the Nitto trail grappler mt's 100%.

Also slapped some more stickers on the rig.

First of all, you still live the dream even though HEAT, and what does the very last sticker photo depict? Looks like a dude wearing a conical hat setting up a hashish bong.

Two real jobs in my entire 55 years and both do random drug and alcohol testing. At first I thought it was a patriot loading a musket.

Ordered some parts yesterday. The local stealership wanted $58.00 for the manifold gasket. Part souq wanted $8.00 or $9.00....

I totally ordered the wrong gasket lol. Just re-ordered the two exhaust manifold gaskets and it was still cheaper for all 3 gaskets from partsouq compared to the one intake gasket from the local dealer.

One day I will go back to Utah and I’d like you to be my guide.

Is this post specific or just a jab at the extreme heat?

The manifold gasket parts post?

If so yes, it is specific. I got some exhaust leaks that need to be addressed.
