I like that it looks like over 400 lbft at 2400 rpms. That is good grunt. Do not get me wrong, we all like HP numbers, but to get that above 4k does not do much for trail riding, BUT sure will make you giggle on the street! It looks like it has plenty to chug on the trail and then blip it to go on the flats. Looks like it will be a lot of fun in your 40. Any idea where you were on #'s on the last one?

My little 40 is only pushing about 225 hp and my race car is closer to 500. The difference is huge!

The only glitch is my new Sanderson headers 😞. I think I am going to have to dimple it a little 🤮. That kinda hurts 🫣.

Fixed that with a couple taps with a ball peen hammer . Pulling the old engine today then cutting the old mounts off 🤩. We will see how the day goes. . I did order some different style motor mounts from Ruffstuff but they have not shown up yet 🤔 I also have a set from Advanced adapter.
I like the Ruffstuff mounts better I think So I may have to be patient 🤷‍♂️

Made progress today . Cut the old mounts off. Welded in the new mounts. Set the engine in and started hooking things up . I might have to put my old headers on just to get it to an exhaust shop 🤔. But that’s not a big deal

Just curious, how does that radiator do keeping a v8 cool?

Well I have been through the Rubicon 6 times with it and twice up fordyce. As long as I am moving it’s been fine. If I sit and wait it will start going up . The worst it has ever got is up to 220 . But will come down once I start moving. . Now since I moved the engine back I can add an electric fan .
