Ok Shroud definitely helped. But sitting at idle it would still slowly creep up 🤦🏻‍♂️ Driving it’s fine . Unfortunately this will never really be driven a lot on the road and will be slow moving so 😕. I took a break and thought hmm let me try something . I took the trans cooler off the front and held the electric pusher fan I had bought up and 😳 that is the ticket. Temp came down and held steady. At 178 . Now the issue with that is space 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ This trans will be the death of me I am telling you 🤮. I took the mesh screen off and that gives me the room I need 🥲. So I loose the Toyota emblem 🙄. But I think I can make something to get it back 🤔. Bottom line is I have a Toyota emblem and sit in my garage Or I run a pusher fan to help at idle and not worry about over heating on the trail 🤷‍♂️ I have exhausted all other options with this thing I think .

I have been following along, nice work it seems like you’re almost there, just keep chipping away.

You could recreate that mesh part with emblem and build it into the bezel on the outside of the bib to retain the look and the space for the fan.

That is what i am thinking. i will make it so its on the back side of the bezel. Once the winch is mounted it covers most of it anyways. When the time comes I will pull this engine and trans /t-case.

I can't remember if there's room or not, but I think trimming it and setting it into the rear of the bezel might work?

Yes I can put it on the backside of the bezel.

could you not just use an electric puller, now that you pushed the rad forward?
It would still be to tight I think . I will use this as motivation to start collecting phase 2 parts . What ever goes in next I can assure you it will be mounted back 3-4 inches 🤦🏻‍♂️ Unsure what trans I will go with yet but it will not be a TH400 . Great trans but not for a 40 .

In fear of some overlander/jeeper 🤦🏻‍♂️ Mistaking this and putting one of those ducks on it 🤦🏻‍♂️ I figured I better get busy 👨‍🎨with the next art project . I had to clearance a little bit of the bib to clear the fan . It’s all covered by the bezel 👍.

Plan on doing some wiring this weekend. And clean things up . One good thing is with the sniper it has built in fan control for the electric fan . Thinking of the positive here lol .

I like your wheels and tires.what size and brand are they ?
Wheels are KMC Machetes 17 inch. i powder coated the rings black . The tires in that pic are STT Pro. 37 inch but i am running 40 inch Maxxis Razr now They work well i just am not a fan of how they look . I had planed on running Mickey Thompson Baja Pro x.

Cut more crap off 🤦🏻‍♂️ If I never have to grind and drill a rivet again I will be ok 🙄. Temp Wired up the fan to the sniper 👍 it works . Now I can wire it in for good . Put my bumper on and mounted the winch . Did a little more welding on some brackets.

Aww this is so fun 😃. Wiring 🙆‍♂️ I made a plate to cover the holes where the fan was since I mounted my battery in that location . I had to fab up some brackets to help keep the battery from moving anyways . Then I added some terminals so I do not have 300 wires running off the battery . This really cleaned things up . I actually have a fuse block inside now to add things like Christmas lights and feet massagers 🤷‍♂️ We are making progress now

Couple weeks to go . Toying with the idea of making a custom center council 🤔. Or probably just get a tuffy box 🤷‍♂️ To mount my switches in . I can’t reach the dash good when I am strapped in the harness so I want something I can easily operate.

Twin sticks are in place. . Compressor is in . Then I started cleaning and polishing 🤣. I think I will just trailer it to the trails. Take a pic then hike the trails 😃. . I need to pull the cage 🤮. And get it PC and raptor line the inside of the tub. But that’s is just cosmetic stuff. I want to get it in the rocks and see what or if I need to change anything first
