Miker is sending me a small sample of his 6H9, so I'll be able to compare and let you know.

Brian

Sorry Brian, this got forgotten  but I have it packaged and plan to mail it today.

Package was mailed US Postal Service. You should have it in a few days.

Your FJ Looks awesome. I have an 84 BJ and have been going over things. I recently purchased 5 new Good Year Wrangler tires 31 12.5 15's The fellow I purchased there from has old Toccomma wheel on it. I also have the white spokes if I want. I tend to like the look of the steelies. What do you guys think?

dkroth..i don't own that nice green fj40...the owner from Lebanon he writes on this post also,he bring his email address,i guess he can answer that

This WILL be the color I repaint my red fj's! Thanks for bringing it to our attention :D

This color green seems to be getting more and more popular for resprays as more people post pictures of it! It definitely has a nice 'classic' look to it

Tires are 7.50 x 16s on Toyota split rims. They are about 32 inches tall. They actually ride OK given they are bias plys and tubes. FYI the rims are HEAVY. I like the look a lot. Not very sporty in the curves but it is an FJ40. My 1981 FJ43 that I sold had them on it and people just loved it. Very original looking. you can order them online in the US. Mine were installed in Colombia and made in Peru. With these tires I don't think you need power steering. I have the same size on a 1960 Land Rover too.

I plan to put them on the more original FJs that I find in the future.

That green FJ40 looks fantastic!

A truck I just finished was 1974 in Heath Grey. It is a grey with some light green in it. May want to consider it as it is rare and very old school looking. Looks better in lower light. Fun to have a rare color no one has.

Very cool with the comparison pics of the colors. Thanks! I'm pretty sure the last pic has my green which is being painted now. However I have added a flattening agent so it might be closer to the lighter side...I will post a pic once complete.

Painted a part that I won't be using. The darker half is the 6H9. It was overcast today so the pictures seem a little washed out.

First picture is against a white sheet so it a truer white.

Second picture is against the FJ40 fender, and that FJ40 is painted 031. Might give you a better reference.

Third picture I think shows the colors better on my monitor. Not sure about everyone elses. The white is copy paper.

The lighter color is the one I'm thinking about using on my FJ45 LWB.
