Minimum shotgun barrel length is 18 inches.
Centerfire rifle used to be 18 inches. It was dropped to 16 inches when M1 carbines hit the market.

Dang it @cruiserdan now I can’t find that one either. Heading outside to grab a few large rocks and a large stick to fend off the feds (H&R Topper with full choke and a long long barrel well past 18”). 😃

Did you watch the video from the shot show that was posted? by providing rhe docs, You set yourself up to end up on a position of incriminating yourself with the very documents you need to produce to get the stamp, along with the time constraints that will never be met, it gives an implicit deny, which can lead to ATF showing up at your door...

yet another case of shoot, aim, ready.....Hell, they will probably put Alec Baldwin in charge of the public relations and information campaign

Yea - I watched - I think it was a conspiracy video by the ATF to get people to pay the $200 stamp price to make money - - LOL.

They can come to my house and see a pistol until I am ready to go the SBR route. I go boating everyday and always take my pistol . . . so who knows. . .

That said, I didn't provide SN/fingerprints, etc. Just wanted to see the alternative process, which was streamlined a bit, so kinda nice.

Another stupid statement: The whole brace thing was a dumb-ass work around by the gun industry to begin with to avoid the SBR paperwork. Core issue is that SBRs shouldn't require a tax stamp - the stupid comparisons to 1940s tommy guns was another reach, come on man.

I agree with ya sir, I just dont like having made a recent legal purchase that they now wanna say will make me a felon. Cause theres no way they can process the "free" grace period paperwork, which defaults to an explicit deny.

Who in the club has my red kayak these days? I may be going on a paddling trip in April.

Yea the consistent thing to do what been to continue the braces for "real" brace use only (no shouldering in public). Then given the industry 6 months to clear inventory. Then made them illegal to sell as a retailer. This ideally would have stopped production, drawn down supply, and continue to let the "disabled" use it for its "intended" purpose.

Edit: Sorry, I don't have a boat, I just rent them on my daily trips. Sometimes I just go swimming with my pistol.

Your assault kayak still resides here with me. Bring all your questionable guns to me and I’ll gladly take them down the river.

Or just come on up in April and I’ll let you borrow your boat 😂

Remember , its red, so its search and rescue, not one of those black assault kayaks. ;)

Nobody has any legitimate reason to own an assault kayak…

LOVE THE MARLINS. I usually pick them up in pawn shops, just to look at them of course. Then I put them back. The blued one is my favorite in the “Pawn Store” but the stainless one sure is pretty too.

My daughter’s first plinker is that bolt action. Great for learning.

I have a Marlin 444 lever action. I can shoot it a couple times before my shoulder complains. Love that rifle. Has a shell as long as my pinky finger

I got a break-action .177 air rifle off Amazon and that thing was LOUD... too loud to shoot in the neighborhood without raising suspicion. I ordered a Benjamin Marauder in .22 and LOVE it. So accurate and SO quiet. Love to plink in the backyard with it... and it has helped keep erratic squirrel behavior at bay by thinning the population down.
