Except for July 4th where I cheekily fly a Union Jack :)

Dude can shoot *and* still has the 1979 Toyota Truck he bought new that only has 104k miles... hard not to be jealous. I bet that thing is worth 4x the $7,500 he paid for it now

I've been 'meaning to' do this for years and So Glad to have it behind me now...

The temptation to walk in a store and buy something immediately is STRONG

If you are unsure on what you want to carry, find a range that lets you rent gubs and try them out. I didn’t do that and have had to purchase multiple times in multiple calibers with hundreds of thousands of round sent down range. It’s a shame the safe is filled with a bunch of tools that I have become very proficient with. ;)

I bought a P365 in April '18; for that last few months I have been carrying it around the house in a variety of holsters (IWB & OWB) to get comfortable. Found a couple I can live with and will likely stick with that for now. I LOVE my new RMR on my Glock so I'm considering a P365 XL or 43X with a Romeo.

Just looking for any information on here about the S&W M&P 45 SHIELD.
May come across one that I don’t have a reason to own.
thanks for any thoughts.

Haha.
the green hat with red flash.
I might know some one that used to wear one of those.

Gun Rant:

When reassembling the trigger group into an M1 Garand, make sure the bolt is closed or you can get 'M1 thumb' on your non-dominant hand. This especially applies to rifles that need to be lubed because the bolt seems to be stuck open but your grease and oil is in a different room and you're too lazy to go get it.

I can see this coming......
Doctor: Do you know what caused this infection?
Idiot: Stupidity.
Doctor: And...?
Idiot: Maybe the remnants of 60 year old weapons lube as spring loaded metal sheared off a chunk of flesh.
Doctor: That sounds terrible.
Idiot: I was a 1/2" away from you telling me that I broke a bone that can't be reset; antibiotics seems like the better outcome. Wait...why are you writing "drunken-cat-like reflexes" on my chart?

An update on my air rifle project... the Amazon Ruger wasnt backyard friendly, way too loud. I "dreamed" I made a device to reduce muzzle rapport but it was ineffective and interfered with accuracy. I destroyed the device and returned the pellet gun back to Amazon.

After a lot of research, I decided on a PCP. The Benjamin Marauder topped the list and it arrived today. Bought a Yong Heng compressor and got it set up today. Was able to go through 7 10-shot mags before I had to refill. It took less than 30 seconds to top it off from 1,000 back up to 3,000 psi.

I can drill a dime from 20 yds. Outside that, groups get a little bigger but really pleased with it and can't wait to keep practicing. I've read the seals set in after a couple hundred shots and gets a little more consistent. The scope I have is pretty cheap so I'll probably upgrade after awhile. Would love an infrared so I can see critters in the dark but they're crazy expensive.

I know it's a longshot, but anyone got any 9mm ammo they'd like to part with?

Quite the opposite, actually. Looking for some myself, hopefully at a reasonable price. I know.....good luck!

How much you willing to pay....? 🧐
You're asking for gold here haha

lol I've noticed LOL

My son works at Academy. They have a line of guys to buy ammo every morning when they open. He said sometimes as many as 30-40 people out front. It is nuts.
