bowl selection is crap...If it's not the national championship game i don't really care who is playing in what bowl.

S.Car should get an easy win so long as they play like the team that showed up in the UF and Clemsux game.

Clemsux will probably get walked all over by a Kentuky team that runs the ball much better than S.Car and has a pretty good SEC D. Clemsux does have a while to get ready for the wildcat but i still take SEC over ACC

ACC bowl record prediction 4-3, and we will be 2-0 against the SEC this bowl season. We gotta get out of that 6 bowl losses per season slump.

Winners:

Clemson
VT
NC
Miami

Enjoy the holidays, see you after the 2nd.

I think the ACC bowls probably go something like this:

UNC loses to Pitt
BC gets railed by the real USC
Clemson beats UK
Miami beats Wisconsin
VT beats UT
FSU gets stomped by WVU
GT beats Iowa

final tally 4-3, 2-0 vs SEC

Good job USuC you got railed by a lower-middle level Big East team and look like a bunch of scrubs doing it, Garcia definitely showed what a talented QB he is. The one time all year I like their chances and bet on USuC and they don't even show up to the game. :bang: Just another blazing example of why you will never do anything in the SEC.

See you in the Bball thread.

Lol. I watched about 5 min of the game. Too painfull. I do remember them saying in the first half that Garcia needed to get his head in the game. Like he needed a good play to get him in the mood. lol

Clemson took care of business, Carolina did not. Acc 2-0 against SEC. All in all a decent cap to an interest year.

College football is done for me, now to hope that the Jets come out and nock out the Colts chances of a Super Bowl for their stupidity at blowing a perfect season.

I like the Colts, I just think it would be funny to blow a perfect season while allowing the Jets to make the playoffs, only to be beaten later by them in the playoffs.

Its funny how there where so many post before the bowl games, and now that clemson won and usc lost theres not so many. Go tigers!

You get enough time to prepare for GT's offense and thats what happens.

UGA didn't need that much time to prepare... and we weren't good this year.

I think it's "if you are capable of preparing for GT's offense, they are very beatable". Some weren't capable twice this year. :D

Amen and hear hear.
I was off today and out-and-about doing some errands and the local sports talk radio was all about Gaines.
He was really a fine fellow and a great baller. He will be missed.
Life is short. Make the most of it.

Great ambassador of Clemson, he was always back at games, wearing Clemson gear, supporting the University. He will be missed.

Boy did USuC blow that one, only place he ever wanted to go and had Tanneyhill coaching him in HS and they wouldn't even give him the time of day.

Good grief! Ya can't even say nice things about a deceased player without taking shots at USC.
You want me to provide the link where a USC running back put him on his butt?
He was a good player and by all accounts a nice guy. Strange CU never found that enlarged heart.
God Bless his two kids.

He would have wanted me to take a shot at USuC in his honor as any good Clemson man would. I can provide you half a dozen links of him sacking your QB's if you want to play that game.

Good grief you are delusional. It soils his memory to use this tragedy to take pot shots.
But...experience leaves me unsurprised.

Or the Bucs, or the Bears.

This seems to be a common ailment among young athletes these days. You would think they would be able to check every kid out for this once they are out of HS.

I had a friend in HS that had it and didn't know it. He collapsed one day running on the beach and that was it. He ran everyday, but never new he had an enlarged heart. Scary!

Relax, even the announcers hear on morning sports that bleed garnet and black were talking about how the staff didn't listen to Tannyhill and missed a great player coming to the Cocks.

I hope the schools/pro teams learn something from this tragedy. What is so alarming is the sudden spurt of this condition among young athletes. Doubt it was a reason for this fine young man to pass away but
human growth hormone (HGH) is very difficult to screen and often leads to this very condition.
Sad about your friend's death. I'm sure he never used such substances either.
Just a freaky condition all around.

Lattimore

Congrats David, that should help your ground game the next few years.

Certainly a Crown Jewel for a recruiting class. I'm more excited about the stocking of
big ugly talent SOS went after this year.
Guess rushing the ball 58 times against the Tigers with ML in attendance didn't hurt.

Next year could be exciting.
