That potted cedar in the first pic looks really unique, what’s it called? Your mully (sp?) grass looks great...love this time of year when they shoot up the plumes.

Great collection from the garden. Tho...Looking at the picture on my phone, I first thought that was an AR at the bottom of the picture. Way to protect that garden. LOL

Built a small foot bridge a few days ago. 4x6 and 2x6 for the span should suffice, lol.

Was forced to get my garden in gear since it was time to plant onions. Added ~1/2 yard of organic compost, tilled and rowed. Cut down a couple elm trees late last year to help with more sun for the fenced spot.

Also converted a spot along our fence/driveway that was raised beds into rows...this area gets tons of sun and will be home to tomatoes and peppers. The fence should also serve as a base to build out a trellis. All in I have ~80' of rows.

I started my superhots a month ago. Reaper, choco 7-pot, 7-pot, jalapeno and habanero. Reapers aren't doing so hot so far, 2/8 starters have sprouted.

Might be too cold where your trying to start them. Some plants can be picky about having just the right soil temps to germinate. Sometimes you can just get bad seeds too, it's always best to start a lot more than you intend to grow.

Looks awesome, I think everyone is ready for spring. Last year we grew trellised cucumbers for the first time, some kind of lemon cuke, I'll see if I can find the variety. They were awesome, and the trellis makes harvesting so much easier. We made sort of an A-frame trellis with some posts and chicken wire, worked great.

I've grown lemon cucumbers for a few years (not recently) and they are always so easy, and produce very well.

Specialty Cucumber Seeds - Lemon

Lovely lemon-yellow round fruits grow on very productive semi-bush plants. Very easy to digest, rust resistant, drought tolerant. Harvest when three to four inches in diameter. Direct seed or transplant into the garden once all danger of frost has passed.

Yes please share the cuke variety if you can find. We've done the A frame before and it worked great. This year we plan to do cukes and beans on the back row closest to the fence and will do a sort of lean to style trellis with wood frame and hog wire. pumped!
