I Was Super Tired And Did Not Have The Energy To Post.Where are the pics from last night's work?
Please tell me you didn't paint the mating surface between the steering arms and the knuckle? This is a friction surface and must be bare metal.
As Metioned By Ary Already.... But No I Did Not Paint The Bottom... I Used Masking Tape. Also You Can Paint The Top. Notice I Welded The Studs, Plus There Are Cone Washers, And I Used Some Locktight Just In Case.I Do Plan On Gettin Some Six Shooter Knuckes Later On Down The Road For A Back Up Just Incase If I Ever Do Sheer Of Any Studs.Did you paint the steering arm surface on the top of the knuckles (and bottom of the steering arm)? If so, pull that thing apart and clean it all off. The paint compresses and you will end up with a steering stud maintenance issue.
