It happened at OTMT in 08 I believe when Rick B was on school bus........ I've seen the video as well, but I have also experienced it in person at Gulches and I swear I still have hearing range losses in that ear

fixed it - it was Guard Rail...I remember that clip too.

That Trail Team guy (connar) at the time "only
" had 3 years experience wheeling the FJC all over the US, from Moab to Rubicon and was professionally train by the man Bill Burke himself. The problem you have there is Carl (no offense like the guy) whos' offroading experience equates to Cullowhee and Gulches trying to over ride the much more experienced and knowledgedable trail team spotter I think it is the "boy scout" mentallitly shinning through, I've seen chuck do the same thing on serverall occassions.... jumping in an trying to spot/recover vehicles in percarious off-road situations when they usually have the least experience in the group. Those dang scouts just can't help themselves
okay sorry for the rant- don't know what my problem is, guess it is just a pet-pev of mine when you have 3 or 4 guys trying to spot one person through an obstacle and usually most have no idea of what they are doing, not to mention having that many people yelling instructions to a driver is confusing and frustrating to the driver
