People at work ask me how I can deal with full time school 50 work weeks and not going insane.. I think I found my answer

King of beers.... hey not everybody likes the king but I think he’s a good king

Back in NC when I was doing 50-70 hour work weeks and school my go to was Lion's Head from PA...... yuck but was only $1 per can at Jack Beagles in NODA. What is it about being super busy and bad choices in beer??? LOL

Now i'm back to full time school and 60 hour weeks but have cut way way back on drinking so I just cry myself to sleep. LOL

Well I thank you for at least making me feel better about what I’m doing lol

That’s insane and while I’m not that deep i wish you the best I know it’s bad enough as it is right now not sure I could add 10 more hours of work

well you got kids or kid?? I don't so you already have more than 10 hours of extra work ;)

Andrea and I couldn't keep up our current work schedule if there was a little one in the mix unless that little one can cook, clean the house and drive themselves to daycare.

@tstepp920

How are you doing on your beer expedition? :)

Halted for 2 weeks. I've been sick as a dog with acute bacterial sinusitis. 3 rounds of antibiotics, steriod shots, B12 shot, Rocephin shot. 104 plus fever . Uuuuugh. I feel like a human again finally.

Ugh! sorry to hear that! I had to stop for a couple weeks due to stomach issues :( I am hitting it pretty hard again, now LOL. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Oh yeah. You may wanna empty the hull of beverage receptacles :)
That would have been handy to know before heading out. And, you might wanna go pull out James' wifes soft cooler from his boat and toss it in the sun. It was a little soggy last I saw it. She might not appreciate it being moldy when he gets it back.

Has anyone else noticed this disturbing not-quite-a-pint can thing going on?
I was about to buy a 4 pack of Guinness pints, then I saw they were something like 14.36oz. WTF? I HATE manufacturers sneaking in price inflation buy selling subtly smaller quantities for the same price. I've been drinking Guinness for a long time. This has pissed me off enough that I think I'm done.
Went to get some Left Hand Milk Stout.... same damned thing. Guess they're off the list too.
Too many good option to let myself get gyped.
Maybe this should have gone in the rant thread....

Wanderlust Octoberfest. Nice and smooth...

Some new things. :) The Three Claw is really nice. Pithy is a little lighter version of the Grove, sweeter like the Pulp. I didn't like Sticky When Wet as well as Hop Drop, but . . Hop Drop is just good . . .still :) Haven't tried the rest yet.

Sticky When Wet is just a bigger beer than Hop Drop. Can only have 1-2 and I'm beered out lol. You're right about the Three Claw...one delicious beer
