Follow up on my homemade charcoal canister project, it is still working as intended. Neither my rig nor my shop smells like a gas can.

Follow up on my Valley Hybrids < @orangefj45 > rebuilt Transmission & Transfer Case, the shifting & gears are S-M-O-O-T-H as butter!!!!

Follow up on the Bilstein shocks for my light duty OME suspension, very-very pleased & pissed I didn't swap these in sooner!

Sniper update, 5 years plus and I'm still very pleased with its performance. Here a pic after my 15 minute drive into work this morning.

The system is still pulling a good vacuum as well.

Rando question around your trans (and transfer) rebuild at VH....did you ship off your units to Georg? If so, who did you use? Was thinking on doing this for my transmission down the road, but was concerned about cost (my transfer was rebuilt at ACC).

Georg has the shipping contacts. You put it on a pallet and he will send the label. Best to have it somewhere that has a forklift.

Even better to find a couple of friends to share the ride with to lower the cost. Pallets are usually about $350 each way.

The great thing about working with Valley Hybrids < @orangefj45 > , they are willing to help throughout the entire process. I gave them a call and made it happen.

NOTE, there are other vendors on here that can probably help-out as well....I chose who I did because of a simple selfless act from Georg helping me out years ago.

Fairly easy to remove the transmission from the inside of the cab (removing hump panel for access)?

With a transmission jack it's not too bad, even for one person. Provided you have a clean, smooth, and level floor. You do have to remove the tunnel. I always jack up the truck and remove it from the bottom.

Agreed on leaving the tunnel in place, tranny jack and locator dowels help a lot.

It can be done with the tunnel in place but you have to remove the rear motor mounts and tilt it all down.

Good excuse to remove the hump. Clean out under the fuel tank. Look for ammo and change. Line the hump with heat shield.

For those that have throttle linkage, check to make sure it’s not jammed wot and functions properly after dropping the rear of the engine…..
