Clint-Thanks for the great trail report, pictures and kind words. I really enjoyed this run through the Rubicon more than most. I hope you guys come back looking for the dents you missed out on this year. I think Pat and Beno used them all up.:D

I did not realize your camp situation was so bad on the second night in the springs. There are plenty of inconsiderate people there and you just have to look around for a bit of quiet and protection. Next year, camp where we did a little lower on the slabs as all the mass of trucks gives a measure of protection. This is the reason many folks choose to stay at Buck Island, as there are fewer knuckleheads making noise all night long.

Good times for sure, and looking forward to the next adventure.

Yeah camp was pretty painfull. We still enjoyed the trip a great deal. It was well worth the effort for sure. A surreal experience to actually do the Rubicon in a big truck.

Andy please thank all those that helped in spotting and running the Con' for us. I don't remember all their names but those guys hiked some serious miles and the straight bodies are a testament to the effort those guys made.

X a gazillion...those guys Alvaro brought in were priceless. Excellent spotters. That new guy, Robbie?, just stood there with his arms folded most of the time. Nodding slightly as I came up....I think I appreciated that most of all.

Here is a start, ive got plenty to share.

I have found ear plugs are key in group camping situations if I want to get any sleep.

The 55 got stuck on gas can rock and the 40 is giving him a bit of a tug up. It didn't take much.

A 55 couldn't make it up that lil ol' rock? That's hard to believe.

The pics are looking great! I hope to get some of mine uploaded today and posted by tomorrow. The video is done but I will need to cut it up to get it posted online. It's over 100 mins!

Looks like a blast!
Thanks for sharing the Pics
Keep em comin:beer:

I'm remembering another 55 with the same issue in the same spot last year. I just can't remember whose it was....:hmm:

Chris just got a bit off line and then caught by his rear bumper. No big deal. That truck was pretty much unstoppable everywhere else. I don't know how carefully you looked but his power train was really nicely done.

I should have just hit it in 3rd and hammer down :D I have never ever not made it up that rock under my own power. But I couldnt back up because I was hung up on my temporary can carrier.I tried a couple times and my cans now have some very permenant dents

Thanks Andy :D It has taken a while to get all that stuff under my truck. But now I can go years insted of hours between major explosions :hillbilly:
