Rookie error??
The shaft nut is left hand thread. I did the same to the first one I stripped down.
Nah lol I did double check after the fact.. I'd rebuilt the ct26 on my last 80 about 3 months ago haha

There is a guy in Adelaide selling what looks to be a genuine ct20b for $500 on Facebook today, someone could have some fun with that.
I used their 11 blade extended tip wheel for the 7m after I damaged my stock comp wheel.

Cheers mate! Appreciate jtI had a look mate, all the numbers match up. That's the one you want.
Has anyone here got a genuine CT20B apart?
Here on Ebay is a shaft and wheel with a good turbine design: Toyota CT20B (Small CT26) Turbine wheel & Shaft STEEL

Here also on Ebay is a CHRA purported to be genuine showing the terrible paddle-wheel turbine design: Toyota Turbocharger Core Assembly CT20B Landcruiser 17202-17040 / 17201-17040

And anyone want to try a VNT CT26 turbo?

Sorry for the quality, I just went out front with a torch. I try to have as many coloured silicone hoses as possible. Quick and cheap jobs too. I was adding a bigger tank as a reservoir this arvo.Show us the settup under your bonnet pls......
They do mate, it's a shame to cover it up. It's rated to 30psi. It comes alive past 8psi, the boost needle moves twice as fast. It has a 80's turbo car 'flavour' about it. The way the needle swang past 25psi, I believe it can hold it there if you wanted. I set mine at 15psi.That turbo looks sweet .. !
