Thanks. Cutting off stuff on the front frame rails. Gotta cut off the axle side link brackets because I changed rod ends. got a good start on an AA style triple stick. Got the driver side vent mounted.

Let me know if/when you need a hand with the exo cage.

Progress has been slow lately due to some work burn out and problems with my right arm (probably due to too much self dating:eek:)

The tailgate is on, but none of the window stuff is even started.

Saturday I worked on mounting the p/s gear and finding a new way to run the panhard since it was clear there would be interference issues with the ram.

Today I got the steering done for the most part and got one of the lower control arms all the way built. I also built one set of the frame side control arm mounts. I built one of the upper spring buckets too, but realized the axle had to be 100% located to get it just right and put weight on it.

During the week we got the shifters all mounted up including the link between the 4wd shifter and actuator. I came across a couple of 1/4 heims I thought I had laying around last weekend. We cut the floor panel to fit them, but have yet to get the panel mounted to the floor. We finally fixed the winch too.

The graphics teacher cut me a sticker for my passenger door sill. It reads "Omnes relinquite spes, o vos intrantes".

Looking good Todd! You should be done with yours before I'm done with mine! Where did you get the high pressure side hose for your Saginaw? I could use one!

"Omnes relinquite spes, o vos intrantes"

Something John should heed the next time he rides princess in your pig!

The high pressure hose is stock off of something on the old system. It would be different for a 40 that has the box located in front of the cross member. I would guess that there would be a part number on the 40 forum somewhere.

That Howe setup on the new pig uses -AN fittings. It came with the 45LV and was overkill for a road going beast.

Built the other lower control arm today and cut off a couple more of the old spring hangers the PO had welded to the frame when he had the shackle reversal done. At the end of the day the kids and I put the front clip back on to double check the tire clearances before locating the lower links.

Thought that ram and pump looked familiar...
Nice to see it coming all together. If you need one to sit next to that one while you build, let me know. The kids might know how to finish things better than I might!

Nice work and can't wait to wheel once this weather breaks. This cold here sucks!

Bring it down. The trailer oughtta be unburied by now. We're really slow right now. Let me know if it'd be easier for you if I ran up there with the Tundra and my trailer and hauled it back.

It's way too cold to be working on stuff if you ain't gotta a nice warm shop.

Nice. you should be ready for the badlands in march.

Looks like the Latin translation for, "abandon all hope, ye who enter here". nice.

:grinpimp:

Well, that didn't happen.

Spent most of the day building a axle side panhard mount, finish welding the lower control arm tabs and mounting the coils on the axle. Got all the rest of the brackets off of the frame and mocked up the frame side lower brackets.

Lots of measuring, cutting cardboard templates and pondering. The last bit takes a while.

I listened to a few hours of "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy while I worked. That dude is messed up.

Then Phil stopped by and I killed another hour talking Cruiser smack.

stupid phil
