I have to clean up the engine bay a bit, the 40 has a nice layer of dust on it. But it runs, and runs smooth.

It looks awesome. Keep the updates coming.

I finally found it. Looking good Scott!
Nice work Mark!

Thanks Dave! You know it was the work I did on YOUR truck that hooked Scott on me in the first place.

Can we expect an update on your build?

He said a month ago he was going to lay everything out to make sure we had everything and the next week they would shoot it. Still waiting and of course it's SEMA week so?
Started lurking around last night and found this thread. I'm going to have to rattle the cage again!

My windshield has the washer nozzle on the top of the frame. My understanding is that the metal tube inside the frame gets rusted. I used an air hose to blow air through it and there was plenty of flow, but decided to go a different route. @ToyotaMatt sent me some Toyota windshield wiper lines along with some other goodies. With plenty of hose to use, I routed the new line in the windshield frame and bypassed the metal one all together.

Scott,

are you still planning to incorporate the NON-USA LX Package ,

Dueling active Upper windshield frame Nozzle's and active Hood Nozzel's

together all at same time , like we saw online that night ?

5/83 - Later Update / Upgrade set up

I Mailed out your NOS Washer Fluid hose Splitter T or Y ,

it should tap into and split the main supply form the pump right

before the Oval Grommet passenger side i believe ?

also your New Multi-Language OEM washer JAR Cap is with it too ...

This truck is really nice. For sure.

But Cooper really made my day! Congrats! 🐕

At this point, I need to address the plastic liner that was on the 40 when I purchased it. It had been sitting in the sun, faded, but in good physical shape. Took the seats off, used some soap and water and scrubbed it down. Sprayed some conditioner on it and let it soak and air dry.

At this point, I am not sure what to do with the seats. Restore the old ones, or putting on some different seats. My neighbor was moving and sold me a set of BMW 1 series seats. He purchased a BMW 1 series a few years back and turned it into a race car, he pulled the seats a couple days after he bought the BMW new. I could't pass on them.

Those are NICE! You would really enjoy those.

And your truck will indeed handle better too! ;)
