Is there an easy way to adjust it? The truck tracks fine, but the steering wheel is at 11 o'clock when driving straight. It is driving me crazy. I dont want to go pay for an alignment, but I will if there is no home remedy. Its about to send me over the edge.

It has been this way since I bought the truck a month ago.

Any Ideas?

Mine has been tracking a little to the left since I picked it up five years ago. Tires are just fine, on my second set and everything is wearing just fine. I say leave it if it does not wear your tires funny.

some long time ago I posted here some numbers on how much to turn the thingies (it's late) to make the wheel centered. Might give you some idea of where to start.

Just don't take your wheel off and try to re-index it. Thats the lazy way. Do it right as others have mentioned.

Check the sector shaft isn't bent. You will see the splines twisted where the steering arm bolts to it. Adjusting the tierods will 'fix it' bit you really need a new shaft if it's bent.

sometimes your TRE's at your relay rod ( drag link ? ) are just maxed out ( mostly in ) and there is no other option that pulling and re indexing your steering wheel ..

Unless your rod is bend or your sector shaft as previously mentioned ..

Mine happened because I removed my steering wheel too do some dash work... I didn't draw a line so I would remember where it lined back up so I screwed it up.

Possibly your PO might have done the same thing? That's the only reason I would pull the wheel and get it as straight as possible.
