I was going to powdercoat some stuff for work so i decided to throw some fj parts in while i was at it. Sand blasted the brake and clutch pedal assembly and powdercoated it all gloss black.

Sand blasted and powdercoated the glove box door, did it in a metalic silver. I cleaned and sprayed some clear on the shifting instructions because i think they're awesome as is.

Appears to be original exhaust hanger mounts, need to look it up, either way I will use those. They are a little rusty but they still have threads.

Do you plan to powder coat the frame or POR 15? Nice looking welds on that transfer case mount - I love it when I can lay a bead like that....sadly for me it is the exception rather than the norm.

After testing my curing method on some other projects.....I decided to go with por-15 because the powder doesn't cure properly on thicker metal, causing it to rust fairly quickly. Also, it would be difficult to get powder on the inside of the frame rails and corners and such. If I had an oven big enough for the frame it would be a different story. Thanks for the compliments.

Got some work in sunday evening..... I think whoever did the sbc conversion moved the radiator forward a bit and welded a tab to the frame. I cut the tab off the rad mount so I could make the tab bolt into the frame so the whole rad mount can be unbolted and removed. I also drilled out a few broken bolts and patched some small torch holes in rhe frame.

This is why it has been a while since my update. The 4ac crapped out in my dd ae86 so I swapped in a 4age 20 valve. not land cruiser but still toyota tech!
