For the camera to turn on automatically at low speeds I think you have to select Auto on the screen after pressing the camera button to the right of the steering wheel. I was messing with it the other night on our new to us 2019 LC and I think that's how it worked.

That did it! Thanks - I know I would feel stupid when someone told me the solution…

Are OEM parking brake shoes recommended? I was going to get some Bosch shoes from rockauto at half the cost of OEM.

And in the same tune, any recommended aftermarket parking brake shoe hardware? namely the adjuster assembly (below). I'd like to have backups before I start in case the ones on the truck are too rusty.

Scangauge 3 gives me AT Oil Temp 1 and AT Oil Temp 3. I think I remember seeing somewhere that these are the pan and the torque converter respectively? Can anyone confirm?

The ‘16+ LX factory flush rails come with three sets of holes, I wonder if anyone has tried to install three factory crossbars?

I like the factory rails and crossbars for my occasional needs of Yakima megawarrior; two crossbars work fine but if possible three will be better for added weight support

Yes, My understanding is that 1 is pan and 3 is the TC. That's how I have it labeled in my cluster.

Interesting. You have a graph for transfer case oil temp. Any idea where that’s hidden? I’ve not found that though I do have one for engine oil temp.

I think TC is Torque Converter.

Edit: oops, never mind. I should have looked closer at the photo. I wasn't aware the transfer had a temp sensor.

It’s under “Toyota, Lexus, Scion” > “Four Wheel Drive” > “Transfer Oil Temperature”
Is yours a 2016+? I don’t have “Four Wheel drive”. Mine skips from “engine and ECT” to “navigation”…

I found it for my 2018. I totally missed it. Thanks!
Any ideas on a "normal" range min-max of temperature?

OBD Fusion? Have you shared that dashboard somewhere? Very slick
Thanks. I'm using the obdlink app that's part of the MX+ reader. Basically it has Fusion rolled into it so didn't have to buy Fusion.

And I put that dashboard together right before this Montana trip. Haven't posted anywhere. Happy to share once I get back home.

@linuxgod sorry just getting a cell signal. Mine is a 18" and found it as others posted up.

I suspect my 2013 doesn't have that sensor, but I'm curious if buying the 2018 PID pack might pick it up... but not curious enough to drop $15 on it :-) If anyone else has a <2016 model year and has the unlimited vehicles option (or has OBD Fusion with a newer model year pack) and can confirm/deny whether that PID shows up and works on earlier trucks that would be swell.

2013 has the same tcase part number as a 2021. Though yes the transmission is different..

Yeah it's the same part but I've no idea (a) if the sensor data is sent via CANbus on earlier trucks, if (b) the ECU supports that pid, and (c) if I can mix-and-match 2013 and ~2018 PIDs in one dashboard in OBD Fusion even if it is supported (and just not part of the 2013 pack).
