Stupid suspension question:
I've got the Tough Dog 45mm adjustable kit (coilovers, rear springs and shocks).
One rear shock is leaking, so looking to replace... but nobody stocks TD.
I'm NOT trying to replace the whole suspension all the way around.
Ideally, I'd like to keep this as "localized" to the leaking shock as possible.
My best case would be to locate a replacement rear shock and swap out the leading one.
If I can't find a TD shock... Plan B
Plan B: What I'm trying to figure out:
1. Am I ok to just find a compatible (by length?) shock and replace, keeping the TD spring?
2. Assuming I should replace both rear shocks, so they're matched?
3. Other considerations (front to back differences, spring/shock compatability, etc)?
Thanks!
