for the clydesdale class....how'd you get the drivers seat lower?
I'm 6'4" and I feel like my lid is a half inch from creasing the sunroof edge.

Anyone know of a secret way to dump the seat another inch?
I keep putting my chin into my chest to get in and out....
I wondered the same, especially after adding Escape Gear seat covers. I thought no way they could make a difference in head clearance or it was just me.....who knows.

@Markuson appears to have good suggestions below in his post.

I think it is M6x16mm.

While figuring out the heated wiper button location on my ‘21, I noticed another button that I don’t know the function of. It’s the one that has the seated guy with an arrow flowing through a set of perforated lines. See glamour shot.

Cabin filter. If you drive past something stinky (dead skunk, cattle farm, oil refinery) you can press it and it'll remove the smell from your interior in about 30-60 seconds.

From a LX manual:

Press .
Outside air mode switches to
(recirculated air) mode. Pollen
is removed from the air and the
air flows to the upper part of the
body.
Usually the system will turn off
automatically after approximately
3 minutes.
To stop the operation, press
again.

■Micro dust and pollen filter
●In order to prevent the windows from fogging up when the outside air is cold,
the following may occur.
• Outside air mode does not switch to recirculated air mode.
• The air conditioning system operates automatically.
• The operation cancels after 1 minute.
●In rainy weather, the windows may fog up. Press

Removed the plastic trim so I could re-secure that loose plastic ribbon thing in the truck that would smack the trunk every time I closed it and I noticed two wiring connectors that don’t go to anything. black one is on the passengers side of the trunk lid, white one inside the plastic blue cover is in the drivers side.

Anyone know what these connectors are for in the trunk of my 2013? I’m thinking the black might be for the power lift gate for the LX. No idea about the other. I’m thinking about ways to get power for some extra lighting as my trunk is far too dark at night to find stuff, especially anything in the drawer

Hmm... Stick ohm meter probes in there with the ignition off and see which ones are ground. Then see if any have +12V with the ig on or off. I'm looking for convenient power too.

Mega SQOD here... on MY16+, what should crawl control be set at for just everyday driving (city and highway)? Mine has been always been set at the half way point and I didn't know if it should be lower and if me having it at the halfway point has affected anything. Thanks!

Unless you are in 4WD low range it doean’t matter. It is turned off.

I flip one to a different position every few days to pretend like I saw some dirt. . .
Actually to not let the contacts get petrified in some way.

I'm annoyed that I can't find a good wiring diagram for these. Wondering if they're part of the Lexus power hatch or what. Anyway I'll break out the multimeter and I'll take a look when I install my trunk lighting. I just ordered a set of these RV "puck" lights off Amazon. I have something very very similar in my trailer and they're great. My plan is to run wires up to the rear dome light (assuming I can figure out how to snake something up there) and mount these near the rear speakers in the trunk hatch. They're pretty low profile and there's a button in the center so you can opt to turn them off easily.

Amazon product ASIN B07YFPWZL9
I also picked up a generic trunk release off ebay for $9. I considered the CruiserTeq kit but couldn't bring myself to spend $175. My kids use one of the 3rd row seats regularly so this should be helpful for them.

I'd like to source an interior handle for the hatch too but so far haven't found anything that is low profile (or spring-loaded), the right color (tan), and cheap.

Hey, I just noticed this when I was peaking under the vehicle looking for the sound of a squeak (likely my BP-51s). Its the line from my LRA tank to the aux fuel pump. I have never really dealt with fuel lines, is this something I can just tighten and check on it later or is it more involved?

What is this thing on my windshield? Build sheet does not mention dynamic cruise, automatic braking, etc. Is it rain sensing wipers?
