I believe on some of the others ones i saw there was a warning in bright yellow something like
"Do not leave this in place when there are rear seat passengers"
as a safety warning.

It should be common sense not to leave these in place when having people in the rear seats.

I was not going to say anything but ... a very simple 2X here, agreed.

I think that the best way to proceed is to make the mounts to fit the front seats. That way, they could be used for the rear seats but will extend out further than desired. That may work, it may not.

One thing is for sure, if we make the hooks for the rear....they cannot interchange with the front in a usable fashion.

If the demand warrants, we will make both in time....

Which ever solution is decided, I will make work in my 80.

If it is for the second row seats I am out. For the second row seats it will not be "quick access". The front row seats allows for 28.5" to the floor board and the second row seats provides 23" to the floor board.

I would be interested in a set for the second row.

I would use them on the front only the back is too low to the floor to really hang anything in my situation.

I will be meeting with the engineer tomorrow or the day after...I will keep you posted. Should be about 2-3 weeks for a decent prototype.

Thanks for keeping us posted.

I think that's a great solution. Who cares how far they stick out in the back cargo area. It might make it easier to reach from the back if the tailgate is up.

front seats please. I wouldn't have a pack in the very back as it is not very accessible by me. No one could sit in the middle row driver side if my pack is strapped to the back of my seat, so I wouldn't worry about their safety.

Looking forward to this coming to production!

Today is 3 weeks so there should be a status soon I would think

Doc...overnight it to me and I will be happy to test fit it and send it back with a full write up and pictures! And will still happily purchase a couple.

Why not? Couldn't you make the holes slotted? The widest part would fit one row and the narrowest part fit the other row. That way they wouldn't slide side to side. Or there could be two sets of holes?
