I looked at the white 80 on 29/Linton Hall today. It’s low miles and nicer than some, but no lockers, mismatched tires, a couple of dents, worn front leather, some nasty fake wood and $17.5k. No real rust to speak of tho. Roof rack was either welded and painted nicely or was never there.

Man... prices are getting too high for my taste... especially without triple lockers... just sayin. Good color though.

I have this grey 40 in my neighborhood in Arlington. Finally took a good look at it today. Thinking this is a '78-79? Anyone know who this might be?

Might be a mix. Top is a 77+ with the rear vent windows, doors are 74 or earlier, 78 roll bar, round bezel is through 78. Lots of potential there but she needs some love. How long has it been sitting there?
 
Either I don't know enough about 80 series or Waterloo motors has decided to open a new lot, but I would think $17k for a truck that doesn't even have matching tires is about $11k more than what should be asked. If they can't afford to put matching tires on it, what else did they neglect to do?

$17K is a relative steal on the 80 compared to the 40 Dan is asking $60k for. Dan is a hoarder.

I once stopped and looked at that 40 thinking that for $60k it must be like new, but noticed things like bolts/screws had rust and rubber gaskets weren't replaced but cracked and old. That told me all I needed to know about the cruisers there. Agree on the hoarding..

Thanks- ok- kind of a hodge podge then... it's been there for a couple years. I think it gets driven because it has up to date tax stickers...
