In town with the wife and kids visiting my sistercl in-law. Looks like I have Monday to do whatever. What should I do? If anyone wants to hit me up pm me. Thanks!

Its supposed to rain so you may want to check out the Capital building or the the Texas history museum. They have an Imax there with tons of cool stuff to check out. Mexican food and margaritas is always a good thing too, try Gueros on S. Congress, order the Queso flameado with corn tortillas.

What ages are your kids?

I'd say just go to Town lake. walk it, bike it or get a watercraft of your choice. They have water bikes, kayaks paddle boats, and my favorite the Stand up paddle board.

If your kids are really young, Peter pan golf on barton springs rd. Cash Only

If it ends up being nasty, Alamo Drafthouse. Its our austin original theatre which is Dinner in the movie. its damn good food too. Check on which tiems they alow kids though.

Childrens museum on W 2nd street is Awesome!

South congress is just cool in general. plenty of stores to fart around with, the congregation of food trailers including "hey cupcake." You cant go wrong with an afternoon on South congress including this, and Homeslice pizza or Hop Doddy's burger bar. Guerros, while infamous as a tourist spot, is overrated.

South congress is the district that starts about a half mile south of the lake.

Hit up hey cupcake and gourdoughs last night. My bro in-law and I hit up every wonderful trailer we could during sxsw. Did Zilker park yesterday. They are going to the children's museum today. Might tag along. So far I love this city. Way different than Cincinnati.

Don't forget Zilker Park and Barton Springs pool. The kids will love the train at the park.

I know how hard it is to keep the little ones entertained especially when it's pouring outside. Here's a place they might like: jumpstreet® | indoor trampoline park Cedar Park, TX

Looks like my free day is tomorrow. Children's museum is closed today. I will look into jumpstreet. Right now we are taking advantage of no rain at the park in Roundrock

Tuesday is kid's day at Alamo Drafthouse, so if you want to catch a flick with them, it's going to be kinda rainy tomorrow, I think.

Come by the shop tomorrow and check out the turbo 80 series we're building ;) not much fun for the kids, but lots of cool stuff to see if you're a gearhead.

Spent some time in Cincinatti, cousin of mine lived there for about 15 or so years. I'd go up for a week. At the time, it reminded me of Austin in the '70's a river divides that city also. Ate chili at Skyline, made the chili cook off on the river several years (my cousin and a friend of his always entered). Of course, what's a chili cook off in Cincinatti without visiting Jungle Jims for the fixin's. The Dolly Pardon towers (that's what everyone that I knew up there called them). Dallas Moore Band (my cousin was a good friend of his. Dallas even stayed at his house several times). Good time everytime I went and visited. Hope you had a good visit to Austin:cheers:

Great visit so far. Spent the day at baktash's shop. Very impressed with what I saw and very friendly people. Not looking forward to leaving. But isn't jungle Jim's incredible?

I wanna check out the turbo 80 build!
