Guys, I had a great vacation over Christmas...

1. Drove 11 hours from LA to Salt Lake for skiing at Snowbird and Brighton. This is a nice straight shot where you can keep the hammer down.

2. It snowed like crazy and we had great snowboarding and skiing !! Utah is unreal for this...

3. I was rewarded with good karma by yanking out a stuck jeep... This guy was stuck for a while and had his buddy digging him out with a shovel... but, he was off camber and cold not get out of the ditch... I offered a yank, which he reluctantly accepted after saying he could get it out himself and trying one more time. I stuck the LC in low lock and yanked that jeep right out of the ditch like it was a Prius...

4. I had chains, but, never needed them and never put them on..

5. Here are some pics my nephew too with his new camera..

Pic of chains, trial fit at home... Never needed them or used them.. bad shot with iphone camera..

Heep folks didn't want anyone to know they drive a heep, and don't know how to drive in snow?

pity you didn't yank him hard enough and ripped something off the jeep as a souvenir. sounds like u had a ball, wish i could drive through snow like that.

Sweet chains!

No disrespect intended, but from your pix, it looks like your "Prius" could have pulled him out. Kudos to you, though, for stopping and lending a helping hand! That's the spirit that separates true wheelers from the wannabees.

I agree with 80t0tlc x's 2 Kudos man. glad to hear you lending a hand to others (even if they drive a heep)

He is lucky he didn't go off the other side of the road. So many people pull off in that canyon and can't get back on the road. It's deeper than it looks. Nice work. The skiing was sick over the holidays. Even better now that the tourists are thinning out;)
j/k
