I just tuned that out...

Meh....then tune this out, too!!

37x12.5x17 0-35 PSI in 35 seconds

Bahahaha.

Ron,

I'll clean the digressions up shortly.

Sorry.

I'd actually bought a very cool kit to run a York on the 80. Planned to mount a tank under the PS floorboard, but there's no way it'd be that fast, and I hate airing up at the end of the day....slowly.

i have a powertank, plus a cheap electric pump in case it runs out (although usually someone else will offer up their cO2). the powertanks really are nice for airing up

To be honest, I'm not going to be airing down and up, very often. I did down in Baja, on washboard. It worked good, but I'm not following Pighead, at least with this one.

Will be used more filling up the Grandkids inner tubes.

Gearing up to finish the interior and haven't decided on what to do with this area. It needs to be cleaned up and sealed good, but it's a hard spot to get to.

Anyone have some ideas. the other side of that area ( inside interior ) will have the full treatment. Zero Rust and Lizard Skin.

What about the air vent, I want to keep it, do you guys use it much?

on my piggy I simply cut a plate to fit and welded it in place to cover that. For me I cut out and removed alot of the little things like vents, etc as I wanted the end result to be as simple and clean as possible. I was not concerned with getting a vent, I will just roll down the window.

Guppie,

Good hearing from you. I never thought about welding it shut. That would stop alot of water from getting in. Not sure if I want to give up that vent.

You getting any closer to starting back on yours?

lol, not right now, mostly just hoarding parts when I see them. :)

so busy with school, career change, another year to go then hopefully I can find a job! I have another 40 I am restoring I need to get done, gotta focus on that for awhile to fund school and have some odds and ends I am getting done on the 80 series. Eventually I will have just the 80 and the 55, which fits my lifestyle much better than the small 40's. Gotta carry dogs, wife, kid, gear, etc......

I haven't done much in the shop, but wanted to show everybody what I'm doing to " Stop The Rust " Before I send it out to be painted. I'm trying to do everything I can think of, to hold off a problem.

All I had was a can of Eastwood's Internal Frame spray with the flexible hose. I was able to reach up under seams from the fenders to the windshield. I'll top coat it with something else, to seal it all up.

Rust is the number one enemy, in my book, so why not fight back. Can I get a Amen! :)

Amen.

I've been researching further into coatings as a rust preventative on steel panels, coatings for radiators (main and rear heater), frame coatings over galvanized, to clear powder over aluminum (be it blasted or scrubbed, only) and my head hurts from the conflicting opinions, even on some major coating companies websites.

It's a lot to comprehend, honestly.

Delancy, it will be ok.

Just get some of this: http://www.eastwood.com/ew-heavy-duty-anti-rust-aerosol-black-13-5-oz.html

it works.

and this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer

it works.

Guppie,

I wonder if the Eastwood product, comes with the long tube nozzle.

It works great to reach into places a reg. nozzle won't. I would think it's too thick to go through the tubing.

eastwood product does not come with a tube, but a stick, what I like about it is that it is like an oil rather than a paint, it wicks nicely into inner seams to help stop rust. On my rockers I sprayed a bunch in there and then moved it all around with compressed air.

Got to work in the shop alittle. Finished the fuel line, for good. I had to put a couple weldnuts in the frame to mount the filter/reg., which needed a good ground, I had to grind up the paint. That's why I don't like too fancy of a finish, powder coating, etc. I didn't have any chassis saver paint left, so had to use flat for now.

Had to redo the PTO shifter, which must of been for a right hand drive, because it stuck way out to the left, when mounted. Had to cut the welds apart and flaten all the pieces and weld back together, Pain.

Now I'm having a few beers, trying to decide if I should start cutting the dash seam off and filling all the holes. No turning back.

The hay barn is filling up and the tractor got kicked out. Me and the wagon aren't happy, sharing the shop.

Ron,

I've got about (34) 26GA White PBR panels around 12' long, probably (60) 26GA PBR panels Ash Gray @ 8' 6" and a stack of Galvalume of varying lengths of same profile that's about 24" thick, if you want to build a barn for the tractor.

Hodgepodge of trim, roll-up doors, screws, you name it. Have enough to keep all consistently colored, if a smaller structure.

Looks like a 350 miles drive but if you want, more than welcome to.

Contribution for the sake of seeing done progress.

Chris

WOW!

That's a very gracious offer and ten years ago, I would of been half way there already.

Honestly, we're thinking on down sizing the goats and that means less hay and more room.

I'm just trying to get out of work.:) I've driven about that far to buy a floor jack. Drove to OK. City to buy two trailers, so the drive doesn't scare me.

Thank You again, but me and the wagon, will just have to put up it ( for awhile )
