I’m planning to rebuild before install, the one I bought was junk..took the wind outta the sails, just need to make time to scrounge some more. :deadhorse:
I like Redhead rebuilds over the Texas rebuilders if you don't want to do it yourself. I rebuilt my first 60 box with just the seals / o-rings, but redhead really did a thorough job on this 80 box.

Yeah, at @ 15 mpg I've got 825 miles between fill ups. It's plenty of weight, but I do like the idea of not worrying about fuel stops.
Bladder of steel. What’s the secret?

No secret, LRA tank which came out of Australia before they sold them here in the States. It has baffles and I made 1/4" skid plate for it, which gets used a lot. Some old pictures.

Was wondering if that is now a 105 box?

No, that is a good upgrade, but you need the 105 pitman arm with it and it's a straight arm. I need @ a 2" drop arm, like the 60 arm in order to clear the frame. They say the pitman arms are made of forged steel rather than iron, so welding and bending should be easier, some day!

Got out on the road this morning, all systems go. By noon the a/c kept going on and off, I know the problem, but just keep wiggling the offending part in order to make due. Sometime time during the day the blinkers crapped the bed. 🤷‍♂️ Look at that in the morning, right now drinking and eating. Crossing Kansas is not much fun no matter how you go, but found a nice state park on a lake, so all's well even took some crappy pictures, I'll do better tomorrow....

Best troubleshooting happens after a few drinks. I know you will figure it out. Looks like a great time by the water.

Yeah, I cuss those chairs all the time. Just to show you guys I'm going after the Show n Shine this year, it rained a little last night.

Before I forget the number, I weighted the wagon at the local quarry when leaving fully loaded. I added just an extra 100 lbs. to replace my wife ( because I love her ) and it came to right 8,000 lbs. Man, what a pig!

I made it to Clayton, New Mexico, right on the border. Clayton State Park is very nice, but I ran into rain. I'm settled in for the night in the roof top tent. It would be a lot cozier if Jeri were up here with me. I have no plans forward until the Pig Party, so let the exploring begin....

You're my hero!

I struck out on camping today. State park near Raton was full and rain moving in, so I grabbed a KOA spot, at the least I'll get a shower and fix the wagon. Speaking of tools to bring, etc. I had to adjust the clutch pedal and adjust the hood today. The clutch was acting up not releasing to engage reverse, hope I solved that. While looking around I tried to open the hood and it was hanging up on the windshield grill. Loosened the bolts and pulled the hood forward a tad, good to go. I never did solve the blinkers (yet). You got to have tools if you're driving a pig very far.

here's where I spent last night, overlooking the water....

I drove back roads the whole day and crossed the Santa Fe trail. I can't imagine what those brave people were thinking coming across here....
