We all know what tanks these vehicles are especially when we armor up like so many do, I just wanted to show everyone why I drive Land Cruiser and will continue to do so. My wife was driving through an intersection when a 2009 Camry coming from the opposite direction made a left turn into her lane, the driver was cited for failure to yield. Posted speed limit was 45 mph, my wife did not have time to react and never touched the brakes. The other driver had some minor injuries and elected to be transported, my wife suffered no injury other than some soreness in here neck and back.
Initially the damage didn’t look too bad, however both air bags deployed and insurance quoted $4500 to replace them. Insurance is claiming it as a total loss since it will be over 70% of the vehicle’s value, so now I get to start pulling off parts and begin searching for a replacement. Looks like I will be upgrading the factory bumper on our 80 now too. Maybe Slee will offer a discount for two...
Wonder if Christo will warranty this one…
