Cool that you took the time. Be aware you only have ~2" from the front to the metal structural part of the bumper.

Can you share the link to the ebay fixture you found?
If it doesn't fit right properly or just looks bad, I may put it behind the grille in the middle. I couldn't find a curved slim bar like this anywhere. I think this will fit flush with the front of the bumper at least as it is only 1.88" deep.

You may have quoted before I put the link in. Here's the bar cheaper on ebay than the earlier amazon link. Both from the Ubox seller. I edited the first post.

I grabbed these brackets for my beach jeep. These things were $150 a few months ago. I got the brackets, 50" bar, and a rigid brand wiring harness for $102. Thats so cheap, I'd be foolish not to throw them on there.

I'm interested in this! I've got a Machine Shop so I can easily shave some of that back heat sink off for more room.

Great size and specs, would be perfect if available curved.

12" auxbeam.
They are cheap and get great reviews. Seem like good quality too me.

Any chance you could do a write-up? I'd love to read/see how you went about the installation process. No worries if you don't want to, just thought I'd ask. Regardless, your end result looks awesome.

Here is a quick photo wire up of the light install. Pretty easy overall!! I purchased a pre built wiring harness from amazon as well which make things super easy for the install! I also removed my drivers side headlamp to fix a cracked support. Its not needed in the light install...

Open the hood and locate the parts that are needed to be removed with the bumper cover. Its super straight froward. Just start taking the trim pieces off.

I removed the trim pieces around each head lamp.

Removed the bumper cover with 6 bolts from underneath (1 bold in each wheel well).

I then cut out each grill piece. I used a multi tool then cleaned it up with a knife. jigsaw or any small saw would work.

I took some measurements and some dry fitting then drilled two holes for the mounting hardware. I used a long drill but and 5" bolts.

Here is the second light mounted.

Then I did some quick wiring to make sure they turned on.

Installed the bumper cover and the trim pieces.

All done.

That looks great, I have 14" ones that I am wanting to install in the same location. Thanks for sharing!

@danielharro Are you still happy with these lights a month and a half out? I think I need more light for a run this next weekend and am considering ordering these with the wiring harness option. I'm particularly interested in how it handles water whether that is from the car wash or rain. Thanks.

Yep I have had zero issues since install. I wouldn't hesitate too install them at all. They are great lights for sure!!

Good to hear, I just pulled the trigger and hope that I can get them installed Wednesday or Thursday. I'm heading to S. Utah Friday for a club run and with it getting dark at 5pm I'd really like the extra light for a ton of dirt miles I plan to run. The option with the wire harness wasn't in stock so I added one from another store on Amazon which should work with both of them. I just hope I can get it to look clean and work well.

This looks sensational and is not only aesthetic but so practical too.

While we are on the topic of LX lights, I thought maybe I would ask. Is anyone else's LX low beam incredibly s***? Like hardly better than a candle? High beam is sensational but low beam is almost too dull to drive. I am wondering if this is just age and diminishment of if just genuinely bad?

I installed (2) 12" combo lights last night in my '07 bumper. I'm pleased with how it went. I will probably need to adjust the angle on them but am headed to SE Utah tonight and will get to play with them there. Thanks to @danielharro for posting these up and sorry that I'm derailing this thread more from the long skinny light bar install.

I'm supposed to run a front plate but don't. Its a secondary infraction in Utah so you can't get stopped for it but they can tack it on if you are stopped for something else, so I just get lucky and don't get pulled over in the first place. o_O

Looks good @nnnnnate - where are you headed? We were down in Montezuma Creek, Hovenweep, and Four Corners last month.

I missed this but just got back from my trip (Comb Wash, Butler Wash, San Juan Hill, Valley of the Gods, Moki Dugway, Muley Point, then out via Hite and Hanksville) . It was awesome and I was able to do some extended testing of the lights at speed on the dirt. I really like them but wish I could get them adjusted up a few degrees. I think they are maxed out right now so I may need to try and bend the the brackets a bit. At low speed they are perfect, for more spirited driving pointed a bit more up would be better, my brights were outshining them for distance.
