I just had a chat with Jeff Bomke. Sounds like due to some unforeseen circumstances. The group from PMC will be a bit small. I think they’re going to try to do another run later this fall. But as of now, the trip is still a go for anyone up here who wants to go.

Since this is a lock the gate behind you, kind of scenario, if we can get a headcount of who’s hoping to be there, that would probably be good. I am in. Who else?

I’m still planning on coming up from the Bay Area if you guys don’t mind a mildly built Tacoma tagging along.

Fundurance....
A state of health in which one must repetitively engage in recreational activities in order to sustain a viable level of vibrancy in the participation of the aforementioned recreational or 'fun" activities..

Uh, I ain't got much... Thanks guys, that was fun, lost a little rubber, lost a little paint and got spanked by a stick on the way out-

I'm going to be tire shopping soon anyways 😁

Hmmm, I am trying to figure out the advantage of this one... I've seen this truck running around grants pass/Murphy... it really needs some dually fenders and the spike lug nuts

Dang! Wife told me she was following an fj45 being towed by a Ford explorer West on 238 today. She tried to take a pic but failed... I asked her if she stopped and tried to buy it off of them or even snap a better pic when they pulled over...She says, "Pshhh!" Like, who cares if the groceries get put in the fridge!

because I don't have enough problems.
another cl treasure.
mx12085. i believe these are the original m12. unfortunately its not really clear when warn first started building planetary winches. based on info i can find, im thinking it was 85🤣
finding the origin solenoid cover in good shape is obviously rare. i need to get a remote plug.
she fired right up when I put power to it. one of the field terminals was super crusty so it was a little slow one way.

tore into it yesterday. other than the one terminal, one motor screw was kind of hard coming out. also broke 2/3 tie rods because of the rust.
motor is actually in really good shape showing barely any use.
the original tie rods are steel. everything new is aluminium. i decided to remake these vs buying the new stuff. because A) steel vs aluminium. B) the new parts aren't bolt in anyway. C) they're fücking obscenely priced.
plan is to refinish, add the Albright, cables, rope and remote.
should be able to get more than the $150 i paid. 🤣
