Nah, the owner was supplied the wrong alloy rims, they are for a FF disk rear end, not FF drum rear.Consequently it was seating on the bolts that hold the axel in, leading to their early death Later on all the wheel studs snapped and the wheel fell off then we figured out what was happening.

For the tassie trip this is how the back of the car was packed up. Two fridges, 100L in total of cool space, 20L water, 40L fuel, 6 slabs of grog, two swags, chairs, general camping gear and all our food, tools and spares.

Second photo shows how a Toyo Opencountry bags at 0psi!! VERY tough sidewalls.

Hopefully I will get some photos and videos from my mates, bit hard to do when I am driving. My car went really well, except on the night before the trip I tested my winch, it had bloody seized, mad dash the morning of the trip to swap in a warn highmount and we were on out way. Some minor panel damage from the trip and I also broke something in the handbrake system, only major thing is my turbo is getting in worse condition, the oil seals dont like constant hard 4x4ing, it billows blue smoke when on/off the accelerator.

Nice pics mate
Tough looking trails

With the 75 series having wrong rims fitted , what the difference needed in rims to fitting bettween the ff drum and ff disk , when seating on the studs , Is the ff drum hub longer

Hulsty, you change your winch??? :hillbilly:

Great winch mate!!!

Unfortunately not, borrowing my mates highmount as at 8pm the night before the trip I found my winch seized!! Lucky the winch change over in the morning only took an hour extra.

Yeah factory 13BT, the glow system is all in there and wired up but has never worked since I have owned the vehicle. I have not checked any fuses or anything yet. The engine has been rebuilt so maybe they missed something when it all went back together. The glow light on the dash does not come on or anything.

Well it turns out my glow system works, it was just never cold enough to activate. It must be temperature controlled, dont know what temp it turns on at though.
