Home Depot has similar seating for $5 each.

Mine was free with purchase.

Went by and checked out Kelly's 40 Friday, the truck looks fantastic in person ;) Where are Lee's updates?

Tucker

Hey, don't rub it in. Better go easy on me til I get your Haddie seat back to Austin. ;)

No updates. Waiting on more $$$ parts from Real Steel.

Lee :frown:

Almost done re-assembling

Just a few more last second parts to go. It's drivable now but I lack one marker light, the rear reflectors and enclosing my rear license plate wiring into conduit. also need to replace the wiring grommets in the rear. Hope to have that all done by this weekend.:grinpimp:

Still need to wash, compound and wax the front half.

Progress Report As Of Monday 19 Sept 2011

This rebuild began in mid April. Replaced to date with all new sheet metal--DS and PS Floor Pans, DS and PS Inner Rockers, DS and PS Outer Rockers and Rocker Braces, DS and PS Aprons, DS and PS Front Section of Side Panels, DS and PS Rear Quarters, Rear Sill, DS and PS Rear Corner Channels, Replaced doors with used LD doors. Waiting for new DS fender and final touches, then on to paint....estimated time to completion--2 weeks.

After replacing the cut outer rockers, aprons, and side panels, I've decided not to install the 4+ Sliders that Dave Gore built for me. I'll probably revert to original stock configuration and go with FJ40 running boards. Either new from Real Steel, or salvage from the Cruiser Corps bone yard.

Meeting tomorrow morning with Mike Denison at Cruiser Corps to assess $$$ damages. In preparation, tonight I'm swilling Steelhead Double IPA with reckless abandon.

That looks great, Lee. Just one question. What are "LD" doors? Little D!ck? :)

Little Dick? Only you would think of that. You and MMW.

My doors were smashed in the rollover. These doors were imported from LD's garage in Austin. I think you catch my drift...Pat's cuz = LD ;)

Motion again, great news Lee.

Always good to keep those two things apart. My experience is that if you mix them, you add to the "$" pile...

Motion yes, glacial motion. :frown:

Still some minor rust issues on the doors that I discovered yesterday. I'm guessing this project won't be completed until early October.

 I'm safe. IPA last night, clear head for body shop meeting this morning. This won't be pleasant.

Lee,

Looking good man, but the more pictures you post the better I feel about going the Aqualu route on mine :flipoff2:

Kelly,

Speaking of tubs it looks like I'm going to need your PU and some manpower to get this bad-boy transferred to my backyard.

I'm loosing my storage in the next few weeks :frown:

Guess I'll have to continue the next chapter in the Sill Wars!

Tucker

Yeah, rub it in.

You did the right thing.

At the rate my repair bill is escalating, I could have bought a new Aqualu tub at full retail price and been several hunnert bucks ahead. :crybaby:

Looks NICE! When I talked to the guy that did mine last week, I asked if there were any holes in it to bolt the jump seats in, and he said they come virginal. After seeing yours, I guess he was right...
