I don't know how many people are gonna be up for more than that at night with the way things are going...may end up watching movies and eating rotel the whole time :)

Awww c'mon Danno - Slick Rock is a fairly easy run, same with School bus and Upper 2... Heck - Lower 2 is even easy with that dumb bypass now. You've got bigger tyres and more mods right? Someone has gotta back me up on the bigger runs - I know Jerry D. will in the daytime, but night runs sound fun!!!

I know I'll be eating my words when I break something - but dang, that's what the 40 is for and I'm not apt to baby it :flipoff2:.

I will do lower 2 at night, that sounds fun.

What about that ledge on 2 where wagons tend to bust out there windows? That's bout the only place that concerns my wagon.... especially at night.

LOWER 2 :)

Upper 2 is where that ledge is.

EXACTLY.....same reason I want to get my 40 up by the weekend. I love the FJC....but I dont want to crunch the body. The 40 on the other hand....I'll break my Junk if I want to! :grinpimp:

LOWER 2 :)

Upper 2 is where that ledge is.

Don't laugh - but that spot claimed my windshield in May. It was folded down, and as I came up and over the ledge a rock reached out and lifted up the windshield, twisted it, and then let go - the twist or slam shattered the windshield. It was kinda funny seeing as how the 40's just walk right over that thing - well all except Jim once in a while :D.

Lower 2 - I'm game, nice mellow patient little run close to camp.

I guess I didn't realize lower could be run without first doing upper, would we just go in at the end and then turn around whenever? woohoo!

Lower 2 starts down by where trail 1 intersects with trail 5. You go up there, wind in through some fun little rutted out sections, then pop out on the rock garden...then up to the end of lower 2. You take the access road out near the Big Oak camp and never have to hit Upper 2.

I walked it this year! Didn't even touch that wall that took out your windshield! :flipoff2:

(Thanks to those rims/tires I got from you.....)

Okee - is the final campsite McNabb? What time will you or others be arriving Marshall? I'm leaving South Florida tonight solo and will most likely be arriving sometime before noon, if not earlier - baring any problems or being tired (getting over a wicked cold - but feeling plenty rested and stoked!). Don't want to waste my time trailing there if you're heading for Big Oak or elsewhere...

Busted my left thumb in the drill press last night drilling out my Aisins for 6 pins. Half blue and useless  but the 40 is almost ready to go on the trailer :D.

True enough - Jim took the same silly line he always does and spanked the rock this year at the oddest angle - those tyres and beadlocks do indeed rock!!! Shame they're rotting in the garage :flipoff2:.

Yes Mcnabb. I'll be there tonight. Ken is already there.

Awesome - hoping to get in before 12noonish - Thanks. Everyone drive safe!!!

Drive safely to you too! Trying to get things organized while I work today so I can boogie in the AM and make the ATL deadlines for arrival!

I'm leaving Piedmont between 8 and 9 in the morning, gotta stop by Dad's in Franklin, then on to the campsite. Should roll in between 12-1, if someone who doesn't have a rig wants a ride or wants to carpool. Cargo space is not a problem as I'm driving the truck.

Will be heading up with jfz80 tomorrow, look forward to seeing everybody.

OK....got the 40 up and running and took a shake down run at 1:00 AM.

Hopefully we will meet up or get passed by a convoy later today headed to McNabb.

See you guys and gals there....

Heading out now once the bus picks up my boy and I drop my 3 year old at daycare :)
