my bad

Thanks for the reminder!
I'll not be bringing ANY adult beverage.
Coca cola is the hardest stuff I'll be packing.
I just forgot about the strict rules and their enforcement.
LOL...man, I'm geting old and forgetful.
Sorry about the alcohol reference. I should have known better.
I'll govern my actions accordingly.
Cigars are still legal however. :)

Holy moley...

LOL, you know I'm not the policy police David. That's the paradox of the century.

I remember there being significant alarm last year and just wondered what, if anything, had changed. :smokin:

On the contary my good friend. I appreciate sound advice.
Last thing I need to be doing at Tellico is posting a bond. :grinpimp:
Again, my heartfelt thank you to my old pal and my sincere
apology to all attendees who I've lead astray.
I promise to behave myself and not embarrass UC.
Ohm.....cruiser,cruiser....Ohm

Same as last year. UC is not responsible for individuals who take a chance drinking. It was not allowed where we stayed last year either. They usually don't give us a problem unless we give them a reason to.

I'm working on something that might make it a lot easier to drink. But won't know till I get down there.

Are you talking about the fabled outpost?

I am planning on coming but not sure yet. I'm not a member yet either, i just have bought an 80. I will try to figure out if i am coming or not by monday and paypal you the uc fee and camp fee.

Well, it would be better for him to know you probley need them now than later...

As Rick said there is something there for everyone - I wouldn't second guess Rick's advice. Tellico has trails as easy as 1 which is 'improved' to Slickrock, Helicopter Pad and Guardrail which I won't touch. UC will not take someone on a trail that they are not prepared for either as a driver or as a vehicle. Rick is a capable driver and wouldn't lead someone off course.

I can spot a truck through areas without sliders. I would prefer sliders with no lift, but we can make due.

Yeah i do care about the body, but only plan on doing some light stuff as this is my first time wheeling. I want to try and hitch a ride through some tough trails though to see what i need to build my rig up for. i wish i had sliders, but i just got the truck last week and there isn't enough time or money:) to get that done immediatly. One thing i don't wanna do though is slow the group down if everyone else has more capable trucks, if thats the case i would like to just ride. I could probably have some springs by tellico, but no shocks/castor correction/drop brackets.

You will do fine on a 4 and 5 loop ride. I would stay off 6 and 8 as a first timer.

I have a moderately (hehe) built 80 so you can check out what you can aim for.

We cannot guarantee that you will not have damage. Anything is possible. I will tell you I have seen stock FJCs on street tires make 4,5 without any body damage. Skid plates are another thing.

We pair groups accordingly to skill level and vehicle. Don't worry you will be well taken care of.

If you can do the springs... then you should be fine on 4,5,6. I drove with "springs only" for a few months until I could the other stuff.
Body damage.... can't predict. I'd been through 4,5,6 a handful of times without sliders on my 2" lift and no damage... One "typical Tellico" rainy day going down 5 I did this.... but ain't that what we got'em for?

Newbies, my son and I, two tents but only need 1 site. Both are small 2-man tents. Thanks and any detailed directions would be greatly appreciated (we have never been to the area!).
