Bought mine already painted this colour. I don't mind it, but I'm looking forward to the day when i can strip it down and have it redone in it's original 416 dune beige though! :)

I'm guessing your wheels are an almond? Would look great with your bezel the same color. That is a sharp color.

Had mine done at MAACO, was thinking of a greenish khaki like that Jaguar color, then I saw this in the General Motors catalog. It's 2004 Saturn Olive Metallic.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your total cost? I'm either going rattle can or MAACO but live in a condo and weighing the options...

mine is a bright pearl metallic yellow. looks gorgeous when all pretty'd up.

JKohler02,
I went for their "Presidents" option, their best, it was $999.00 but I had them do the dashboard and inner door & rocker panels and they said that is extra. Total was $1400.00. It's a base coat/clear coat job.

I sort of got lucky because they screwed up on the clear coat, then couldn't get the color match right and had to do it over 3 times. :crybaby: I totally lost my patience with the manager but as it turned out I know I got more than one coat of paint on it. Blessing in disguise, I guess. I'm sure not all franchises are like that, though. In fact, there was a guy with a '61 Cadillac there when I dropped off my Cruiser who told me he brings all his cars there and his Caddy looked awesome.

Bottom line, it looks like it's made of glass and I've got 5 trophies to show for it... Had it done in 2006 and it still looks like the day I picked it up. :bounce:

Just got done with mine! Summit racing pacific blue. I love it. Was originally gonna go silver, but it looked just like the steel I had been staring at for 2 years. Had to change it.

Maaco

I was curious what your cost was at Maaco. I need to have mine painted and yours really looks nice. Do you have any more pictures?

Yeah it was $950 with some body repair they welded in some rust damage on the sills and such. I did the removal of all the trim panels I could and the lights so they had little prep work, but I did have undercoating all over it too. I bedlined the emblems that were in bad shape too.

All in all a great job! But two tone would be an extra $250 for the white roof. Still deciding when I can do that.

Love that color!!! Was gonna do something similar, but thought it to be too dark for my shotty body work! :)

Looks great!
