I am new to this thread and I have a 78 FJ40 that I want to sell. I know about eBay, but I don't know about BAT or Overton. Can someone give me some info on these and a web site.

Thank you from a Newbie

Personal opinion is if you haven’t sold much to reach out to Overton and let him sell it. He does a great job listing things and you will most likely get more than enough to cover what you pay him because how well he does!

Not to mention he will handle everything! He is a great guy and has done great with some of my customers.

I wish I would have gone to Overton last time...

Bat didn't bring what I thought it should. And they won't sell unless you agree to their recommend reserve.

When you consign a Land Cruiser with Land Cruiser Nation, I basically do all the work so you can sit back and wait for a check. My service can include me listing your truck on bring a trailer as well as my site, Facebook, Twitter, etc. You will find an overview of the consignment services at the following link:

Thanks,
Greg Overton

Yes I’ve sold a couple of vehicles on BAT in the last 6 months. I prefer their platform over eBay mainly because on BAT you don’t have to worry about scammers and non paying bidders. Also their auction structure is preferable over eBay to me since their system allows bidding at the close to continue past the deadline if there are multiple parties interested, like a real auction. It definitely maximizes your selling price. On top of that I found their staff to be easy to work with and accommodating when it came to creating my auction listings.

HTH....Good Luck with your sale.

Thank you very much. Today is Sunday. I will contact Overton tomorrow . I have never sold a vehicle on eBay but have sold a few other items on the ebay site and the number of scammers that reply in just unreal. Sad that some people feel that the only way to survive is to take advantage of other people. Thank you again, fellows.
