Ladies,
I'm considering having some Gore Tex seat covers fabricated. If I can find the lady that has done some upholstery work for some items in our house(for cheap) I feel confident she can replicate my existing original seat covers with the new fabric which I can get enough of for around $50-60.
This is for my '72 40, which has the 3rd back and both long jump seats.
My plan is to get the covers made, buy new foams from SOR and put everyting back on the frames which I plan to sand and paint.
fabric - $60
fabrication - $150-200 for all front and rear. Estimating.
foams - $250
Just wanted some opinions. The fabric I'm looking at is Nylon Goretex US101 Poly WPB(waterproof and breathable).
