I have been waiting for these in 17". I currently run pro comp steelies in 17x9 with 4" BS. I was very particular and ordered the
size that I thought was perfect. The sizing is perfect.

I have Toyo 285/75R17 MT's now.
With the 4" BS they are 1/2" clear from rubbing on OME heavy springs, even under load and full turning I've never rubbed the springs.
I've looked, and there is no polishing on the springs ever.
I'd take a chance on these, but timing now is I can't look at getting them until late autumn. ( 6 week trip to Yukon/new FF w ARB/new RTT, etc)

I'm not sure why SCSPerformance won't create a more friendly BS for 40's, 60's or 70's as they are targeting 16" and 17" sizes. In order
to get into an 'E' rated tire, I have to buy a 17" wheel. There is only one version available in 16" F5 wheel that is a complete fit with 3.5" BS.
If the BS was an even 4" I think they would be an easy fit. I would prefer 3.5" BS, with either an 8" or 10", or 8.5" or 9.5" width for the
guys wanting 305 or 315 width metric sizes.
Blah, Blah, I did have a question: My terminology is blank, but what is the depth of metal from base of lug to back of the wheel? I can get
1/4" plate spacers that would make all the difference. They were on my old '65 FJ45 with the steel wheels on a disc front end. They would eat
up that .30" of extra BS.
But I feel that the F5 is a home run as far as look and style. See post #82 and #88

The BS is too much for the 60 series. You'll need to run 3.5" bs or less to have proper clearance. To make the 17s work, you would have to run a 1" spacer with the wheels.

Do you have a particular spacer that you would recommend? I have no experience with wheel stud spacers, I would
think that some are better than others.

These look great, nice work.

Will the new 17" wheel have the same deep lip look that the 16" does on a 80 series? I really like that these are pushed out beyond the fender without the use of spacers.

The lip is not as deep as the -25mm offset, but it would definitely look great on a 80 series.

Would look even better and most likely sell like crazy if you made a deep lip 17x9 4" backspace. Sign me up for 5?

The people are speaking to you guys, we want a lower offset and slightly wider 17. No one currently offers this unless you're into ugly ass fuel wheels. You guys have the market on nice looking JDM style wheels cornered, please please please consider this.

When do you think matte gunmetal F5s 3.5 will be back in stock? I checked your site and they haven't been available for awhile.

Cant decide what color to get for my Green 80 series...Do you have any pics of the Matte Dark Bronze on a green 80 series ?

Not really knowing anything about aftermarket wheels, I have a question: How does the 2100 lb max load compare to OEM Toyota wheels? I could envision situations (like handsombob's photo above) where there might be more than that load on a single wheel.

I picked up a set of Matte Gunmetal 16x8 3.5 F5s and mounted 305/70r16 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ and really like the setup so far. SCS/Vin was great to do business with - he set realistic expectations, maintained communication and packaging/product is top notch.
