Well Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone here has done Schofield in their LC200. I do have a lift. Did Pearl Pass yesterday... AMAZING!

I just would like to make sure our LC's aren't too fat for this trail. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Schofield Pass is very easy considering you did Pearl. I did it just last weekend with zero issues/concern. Beyond the town of Schofield, it gets gnarly and tight.

Oh Cool! So just to be clear, did you do the gnarly and tight part (gnarly and tight... Reminds me of an old GF)?
No, I stopped at the town of Schoefield, just beyond Schofield Pass

Thank you for the clarification. Anyone else has any intel? Thanks in advance.

Watch some of the Youtube videos of it. The tough part is best suited for short-wheel base Jeeps/Toyotas. I've no doubt the Cruiser can do it. But there's a high risk of body scraping/damage. The toughest part has NO ROOM to turnaround if there's oncoming traffic.

I've told this story before on this forum. My wife and I were walking part of the northern side when we saw a very expensive Mercedes SUV coming from the Marble direction. The side of the vehicle next to the rock wall was severely cut, scrapped, and ripped. Windows were broken, the mirrors were gone, and almost every window was cracked or busted. They were tourists from out-of-state in Denver for a work conference. They decided to head up to Marble and venture on Schofield pass without doing any research. One guy was driving , the others were walking. They were all freaked out. Some of the damage occurred because they lost their focus and did not drive by controlling their fear. The other damage occurred because there are some tight spots on it.

If you take your cruiser, I'm sure all of us would love to hear a trip report.

I've done a lot of 4x4 trails in CO. This is one I won't do in our Cruiser because I don’t want to add body repair on the to-do list. To each his own.

Ran the 100 and an 80 through the whole thing last year and it was tight but very doable. I hear it's in 'wider' graded condition this year. Expect the 200 would be fine but there is definitly some real pucker factor there in the narrow part and across the bridge.

Doesn't look like it should be an issue- says the rock slide area may have been cleared...in fact the last review was from 8/3 and included someone in a 200 on 33s....

Well Crap! The cat is out of the bag... That's me with my friend in his jeep. 33's would of done it but I actually have 34's.
Where the pics?!?!
