-4 on the tree conversion with a rebuilt 4spd transmission by Georg, Orion t-case, new Tom Woods driveshafts, and rebuilt rear differential
-FJ60 power steering conversion while retaining the column shift
- 4 wheel disc brakes
-New 2.5" exhaust with Man-A-Fre ceramic coated headers, Vibrant free flow resonator and muffler
-33x10.50 Toyo Open Country

My goals with this build were to enhance and preserve the awesome patina and then to make it mechanically new while adding upgrades to improve the driving experience. Below is a list of work done and items replaced in my ownership.

-Pulled engine, resealed using all OEM gaskets
-Rebuilt 4spd transmission, new Aisin clutch, clutch master, clutch slave,
-Cooling system overhauled, new OEM radiator, fan, fan clutch, water pump, thermostat, radiator hoses, heater hoses, and clamps
-City Racer brake booster, Aisin FZJ80 brake master, WIlwood proportioning valve, rear disc brake kit, new rubber brake lines and custom hard lines
-City Racer Fuiji Carberator, OEM fuel pump, fuel filter, non-USA air filter housing
-FJ60 power steering upgrade with OEM FJ62 PS pump, rebuilt steering gear box, 70 series relay rod, OME stabilizer
-Completely new 2.5 exhaust system featuring Man-A-Fre ceramic coated headers, and Vibrant free flow resonator/ muffler
-Upgraded to a FJ62 OEM 90amp alternator
-Rebuilt rear axle, new OEM seals, wheel bearings, rear differential
-Davis Unified Ignition and Live wires
-OEM gear reduction starter and upgraded battery cables
-Rebuilt parking brake
-2 layers of Second sound deadening throughout
-33x10.50 Toyo Open Country tires and reproduction stainless steel hubcaps

Everything works as it should, it runs and drives perfectly. I have well over 100 hours and $15,000 in new parts since I took ownership. Hoping to find a good home for this old girl where she will be appreciated and enjoyed for many years to come.

Please reach out to me with any questions as I'd be happy to discuss in detail the LV and the work I've done to her. More pictures available here: 1965 FJ45LV - https://photos.app.goo.gl/49f4HkHKZSNcikNJ7

Asking $50k OBO
*edit I’d also be interested in partial trades for a clean 80 or 100*

Thanks!
JP

So cool. What's even cooler is the architecture and design of your home behind it. What a beauty!

Thanks for for the kind words! In my pre-Cruiser life I did dabble in architecture but I can’t take the credit for that design it’s my dads design and house 😎
