Finally on our way out, I started having brake issues (dead seagull sound) , came home and replaced motor and accumulator. The motor was definitely done.

Then after all the fixes I spoiled the girl with a Scan Gauge 2 Black Friday special install.

Did you replace the piston as well? How are you able to take the MC out without getting brake fluid everywhere?

I did buy the piston but did not change it. The truck is braking fine now and no alarms, I wasn't about to rip that out for fun... lol. I only bought it in case it was needed.

The whole install was really easy, would of been eaven easier if I didn't have dual battery components near the MC. You can suction out the fluid but honestly it doesn't leak out of the reservoir, a little bit dribbled out ot the lines but fell straight down the truck, just had a rag there to soak it up. I could do it all again in a little less than two hours.

Finished panel. In addition I added LED lights into the labels so they light up with "on" this is not something that comes out of the box from Blue Sea. Panel and Rack lights in action.

Hey man, I just love your build thread and have used it so much! Thanks for the effort!

How are you liking the blue sea switch panel? I like the idea of having 8 switches but have also considered the 6 switch contura rocker switch option.

Thanks! That's what keeps me coming back and posting updates, the slim chance it will help someone eventually.

I absolutely love my rocker switch, it's so sturdy and overbuilt. The 8-switch mount is maybe a tad much but it fit perfectly, whereas the smaller looked awkward. So much that folks that ride the truck think its stock. I also like the fact that the switches are protected and require a purposeful push to turn them on so they are not accidentally kicked on with one of my kids head as they move around the truck. Especially since I have one attached to my front locker, I added a red blinking light for that one. I've used them all up except three. DS Rack Light, PS Rack Light, Rear Rack Light, Air Compressor, Front Locker, (future ps eject button), (future parachute deployment button),(future rocket boost button)

Thanks man, I'm sold, this is definitely the way I am going.

Alright about time to post some updates for this build thread. A few things have been done to the cruiser as of late.

I've been working on a platform project for the cruiser for some time now. I've always struggled to find ways to bold/tie things down on the back and it has always been in the back of my mind to build a platform. I have to keep one of my third-row seats so the platform had to accommodate that. Here are some of the pictures of the process.

In conjunction with the platform, I was also building 3.0 drawer (my third design). This had to accommodate my two tools sets (impact sockets and regular) in addition to the everyday things I carried in my old drawer. It threw in some electrical in there power sockets, voltage meter and automatic lights that come on when you open the drawer and the upper hatch.
