Yeah, JP pushed back on the running synthetic. Which I understand, it's asking for a leak.
This has been my understanding

I want those wheels. :hmm:
FYI The same style wheel is available with back spacing that does not require spacers, but they are narrower than the 80 wheels. I run the narrower wheels on my 70. As an illustration, I snapped the following picture a few days ago while we were on Skyline Drive

Yessir, I know about those and may ultimately get some, lots of 60 dudes run them. I currently have 16x8 steelies w 285s that fit right and I dig the look/stance, but always thought my wheels were very cheaply made...not even close to OE wheel quality. Always really liked those 80 steelies, I avoid spacers though.
(hijack off, back to the thread not about wheels :hillbilly:)

Had to go out of town for stupid work but did bring some tools and some busy work to do on Paul the 62.

Trailer is getting close, ready to plop the RTT on and start on accessories.

Had these slot mags left over from a previous trailer build, they took some doing to make work but I like them enough to do it, plus I have 4 with good rubber.

Hell, I have to do a piss missile run to Colorado tomorrow to get the camp trailer there. I'm half sick, and debating whether I like that plan. 🤣

Next weekend do PM's and load.

Following Friday, we're wheels up for Ouray.

I don't f-ing get it. It's my immune system trying to keep me away from you i think

They come from the factory as relief maps of Kansas? Nice.

Welcome to Kansas.

I think I can still see my house from here if I turn around.

Weird twist, I've been on this road before.
Ten or eleven years ago. It was something like 108º and I was in my WRX.
The only thing keeping me under 100mph with the straight road to the horizon was the heat.
I'm not certain what happens when you lose a tire on a Subaru at 140mph, but I'm guessing it involves a shopvac and dustpan.

As a tow truck operator, I can tell you it is not good. There will be a yard sale and usually a dead body. May the force be with you brave man! Lol

Well aware. I would've been picked up with a scoop shovel and a mop. 🤣

I don't have room on the goose too get my camp trailer to Colorado, so I'm just towing it out this weekend. I'm in Divide CO at the moment.

What's a 2000 mile road trip on a Saturday/Sunday......
