I’m thinking about a beam axle from Etrailer. Doing my lift with shackles and springs.

Yup. That’s an early 70’s Ford Courier bed. A truck based of the Mazda B seriesNo
Ford partnered with Mazda in the days before the chicken tax.
I remember them well, they were great little trucks. 4 Cylinder, 4 speed Manuel, am radio & heater no options.Yup. That’s an early 70’s Ford Courier bed. A truck based of the Mazda B series

I just used a piece of 2" well pipe. You can buy standard hubs that fit almost perfectly into the ID, hammered them in with 3 pcs shim stock to keep perfectly centered and plug welded in. That way I could use 6x5.5 hubs and set the track width exactly where I wanted it. None of the "off the shelf" axles I saw fit my requirements. I retained the stock "3/4 ton" truck springs and put new shocks on it. That trailer probably rides nicer than most of the things I tow it withWas Ford Datsun?

One vote for Pollux orange… perhaps that should be an option for the SAS 10 flagI still haven't gotten my camping trailer painted. I should probably get on that....
That was last year my friend. A little late to the party...One vote for Pollux orange… perhaps that should be an option for the SAS 10 flag
Well shoot. I’m having a hard enough time keeping track of my own progress. That was last year my friend. A little late to the party...
Wait a second. All we have to do is vote on a unique/rare color for the flag and @sogncab will paint his Cruiser that color? Now I am tracking…
I figure you were independently wealthy from all that high end work you do. And because you’re getting it painted at one of the most expensive shops out there. As of right now painting the 40 is putting me into poverty.

Get used to driving the 80 because when you get the 40 back the only place you’re going to drive it is Cars and Coffee. It will be that nice

We would love to tail gun for ya in our FZJ80 on a few trails Jason! When the snow melts I’m going to take my dirt bike to Ouray and do some exploring. I want to find some new mines and structures to check out. I still like running Black bear and Poughkeepsie. Hopefully I can find some new cool stuff to lead.
